There is a new Tesla service where you can do a one way rental from LA down to SD (Mission Valley/Hotel Circle) Area. I think rates start at $49 and go up to $99Jump to post
https://flightaware.com/live/flight/SWA1402 This is the page where I got the information. I have never in my life heard of a Southwest Airlines flight "operating as Alaska Airlines flight XXXX", so I can't vouch for its accuracy or what it is saying. Looks like another data error at Fligh...Jump to post
If you arrive on a Sunday into the Bay Are, keep in mind you will have to transfer from Amtrak to Bart at Richmond. It’s about a 1000ft walk to transfer. You’ll want to hop on the only BART train serving Richmond that goes towards Fremont/Warm Springs. Then you will transfer at MacArthur to a Daly C...Jump to post
Just got confirmation starting this Sunday March 10th WN will start using gates 11,12,13,14 in T1E. Gates 13,14 will be shared with Allegiant and Sun Country. JetBlue relocating to gates 15 & 16. Spirit gate 17 Frontier gate 18 Flyguy WN used/ is using gate 13 already for 2 different SAN-OAK fl...Jump to post
Regarding the gates at the east end of T1, that whole tarmac area is very crowded and space-constrained. I really don't think the airport would be able to put more than one airline there. IMO, there is really room for 1 highly-usable gate but gate 2, as Silver' emphasized, can't really be used when ...Jump to post
Last night, I was flying SJC-SAN and discovered that free texting has begun onboard the plane. According to the other site, it’s supposed to go live on October 1st but it worked fine on my fight last night. It’s good for iMessage and Google Hangouts and supposedly works for WhatsApp (which I don’t h...Jump to post

Any idea how long it's been there? Isn't that where WN parks RON overflow?
Since it's the Holiday Season of wishes and fantasies, and in a perfect world, the DOT would hold an emergency hearing to decide which airline would get that single 5PM slot for a temporary and very much needed flight to SAN; this would hold true until the next full-fledged Congressional Beyond-Per...Jump to post

I thought I saw 3 plus a Delta 757. Didn't think that was MLB related. Padres have been home and I think the Dodgers ride the bus down from LA (they play each other tomorrow). I was at SAN this last Monday (the 28th) and the DL 757 was over on the north ramp. I'm not sure who the Padres were playin...Jump to post

Just heard on the news a A320 plane circled for an hour over Northern San Diego between 9pm and 10pm local time with some type of flap issue. Looking for info on news sites. Just saw it on the 11pm news on NBC 7. Looked to be a USAirways plane. Will look for links to post more info.Jump to post
For Vegas hotels, check in with only 2 people at the check in desk. Go upstairs, make a drink, then go back downstairs and say you left your keys in your room. 2 new keys, problem solved. Cletus is passing by Billy Bob's hay barn one day when, through a gap in the door, he sees Billy Bob doing a slow and sensual striptease in front of an old green John Deere.
