It's been almost 2 years since Icelandair, followed by WOW the next day, announced service to CLE. Let's hope we get another such transatlantic announcement soon, this time from a more reliable carrier. One can only hope!

CLE saw it’s first 787-10 tonight as their TLV-EWR flight diverted. It was also joined by a UA 763 from TXL. Crew timed out and they cleared customs in CLE. Local guy bought them Kosher food. I thought CLE would not come back and it is returning. In CLE FI just took a year off, but will return as long as the MAX flies. So this would be the opposite if this isn't a rumor. Definitely not a consistent strategy if it plays out that way. Is this just speculation or has this been confirmed?

Two UA 777 diversions at CLE now...PUJ-CLE and PEK-CLE, due to poor weather in EWR. Also a 757 from LAX and a 737-900 from LAS. Don't mean to be that guy but, the first one, UA88, came from PEK. The second one, UA87, came from PVG . That's what I meant, but didn't catch my error in time to edit! :)
