VG Airlines At Yul?

Hi all,
I was returning to YOW from Paris this afternoon, via YUL, and noticed a number of VG 330s on the tarmac. Anyone know what they're doing there?

RE: Westjet Coming To Halifax

To change the subject a little, does anyone find it a little odd that Westjet often has a city pair with nonstop flights in only one direction? For example, from YOW, you can fly TO YYC n/s, but not back. It's the reverse for Regina and Saskatoon. And now with YHZ, you'll be able to fly to YHZ nonst...

Yeah, for me it boils down to the pain of backtracking through YYZ. FRA is right smack dab in the middle of Europe. YOW-FRA would be perfect. Interesting that YOW-IAD is being bumped up to 4x daily even with the hi-tech slump...

RE: Int'l Traffic At Ottawa

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I still think YOW-FRA on either LH or AC would be a great route. As it stands now, for Ottawans wishing to fly to anywhere in continental Europe, options are limited: a) Connect through YUL, which itself has minimal transatlantic service. b) Connect throug...

I started a similar post a while ago. I think that the 73G/A319 could play the role of a sort of "transatlantic regional jet." I know Skyservice was (is?) flying 319s to London from Halifax (...or was it St. John's). Either way, they definitely were flying A319s transatlantic. I think you could see ...

I heard speculation a while back of AA coming to YOW from MIA. I think that would work well. AC had weekly seasonal nonstops to MCO and FLL; I'd bet the combined traffic of tourism and latin-American connections could make the route work.
