Jump to postHello all. It has been about a month since I completed this trip so I guess I should buckle down and write it up. Every 2 years my father and brothers take the time to visit the EMO Machine tool show in Hanover, Germany. We skipped the last show (Which was in Milan) due to the poor economy at the ti...

Hello all, My wife and I had been planning a cruise to Alaska since we got married, and after saving a bit of money, and doing some extensive planning it was time to go. Luckily, we had plenty of miles saved up. Me from years of saving, and her from her Business flights to London. After an exhaustin...

Jump to postalways a shame to be kept on a plane that is only stocked for a short flight!
Jump to postBack in may i was looking for an excuse to travel. I have a few friends that live in the Seattle area, home of my favorite aviation company, maybe you have heard of it, they are called Boeing. Well one of my friends was thinking about moving back to Northeast Ohio, so i figured i should get back out...
Jump to postI am going to be in the Seattle area this week, and i am planning to go back to the Boeing factory tour. There is a great spotting deck that overlooks paine field. I checked it out on flight aware, and it only lists some small private activity, do you know if boeing is required to submit flight plan...

Jump to postthis report makes me very nostalgic for my travels in china. i flew on nearly every major chinese carrier, and found the service to be comperable to many US airlines. the only critisim i had of them was the liveries. they took a brand new A320 or B737 and made it look old by painting a dated livery ...
Jump to postReally Really enjoyed reading this. I have been on some long haul economy flights, and this report skillfully captures the experience. I love the bit about the nuts, the 2nd meal, and then getting more nuts. If bad flights inspire this kind of story telling, then i wish you more bad flights!!

Jump to postgreat trip report, and i love how everyone here is WAY more impressed with the walkaround than any celebrity that would be on the flight!!
Jump to postyou dont get to nose around the planes much, but even the bus ride over gives you some great views of a great variety of aircraft.
worth the $$ in my opinion.

My experience at NRT was great, tons of 747s all around, and a great observation area (airside) that has a great view of the flightline.
