In a locked article on check-in.dk it is reported that SAS has to cancel some flights operated by CitiJet in the period between 16-21st of April. SAS will not give information as to which flights are effected, nor how many. Three 737s from JetTime have been wet-leased during the same period to cover...Jump to post
Doesn't DY operate CPH-BOS? Could that also be a factor why they are turning BOS into a seasonal flight? Norwegian no longer flies CPH-BOS and it is very unlikely that SAS will return next summer. It could be profitable with the A321LR, but the A333 is just too much capacity. The flight is almost a...Jump to post
SAS is removing their CPH-BOS for the winterprogram, but they hint that it may be back next summer. Link in Danish only so far. Good news is they are also retiring the infamous LN-RKP this winter as well.
Same problem here in Scandinavia! Haven't seen fighting yet, but I think I will come shortly. People bring WAY too much stuff with them onboard, and stowing up to 4-5(!) carry-on items in the overhead bin. Just yesterday I had to remove 8 pieces of carry-ons and check them in (flight was only 75% fu...Jump to post
BTW, was it possible or even common for pax to visit the cockpit during flight pre-2001.9 in the USA? When I was a child, I did it once in Europe (LX flight). I remember doing the same during a flight as a kid from Nairobi to Cairo on board an Egypt Air flight in 1995. Been in a few post flight. Ne...Jump to post

Finnair cancels 100 flights today March 10th (from 3pm - 7pm) due to a dispute between the Finnish Aviation Union and the service sector employer union Palta regarding labour agreements. It is the ground services that won't be available or very limited, Finnair is not a part of the labour dispute.Jump to post
Makes good sense since the airport will run at maximum capacity even when the new pier is officially opened. Working at OSL is a complete nightmare at the moment having to cross through the gigantic taxfree when going from the E/F gates to A/B.Jump to post

Where I work we get the command to disarm the doors, crosscheck, and report on the PA from the SCC after the seatbelt sign has been switched off. When the SCC is done disarming their doors they will initiate a conference call with the two CCs in the back to confirm that the doors are disarmed and ch...Jump to post
New SAS uniform officially revealed:
To be worn from 18th of October 2016.
At SAS the Cabin Crew always clean the aircraft on all domestic stops besides at home base. The only exceptions are if it is the aircrafts last leg of the day, or if the aircraft is going on an international flight next. It can be quite tight with 25 minute turn arounds with some passengers taking u...Jump to post
I work as Cabin Crew for a pretty big airline where we have a lot of gays both in the cabin and in the flight deck. Our company is all about equality and being an accepting work place. During a layover we had a discussion during dinner, (5 CCs and 2 FD), about homosexuals in the flight deck, when th...Jump to post
