Re: Should government fund private cashless payments?

I haven't touched physical money since March. No plan on re-starting anytime soon. Everything I need to buy, I use my credit card for. If a retailer doesn't accept Visa, I use my debit card. I don't think I've seen a retailer in Southern Ontario who doesn't accept either credit or debit cards in mor...

Re: Why isn't Air Racing as big as Formula 1, Le Mans or Monaco Grand Prix? Curious.

Air racing is not a very television-friendly sport. Formula 1, touring cars and stock cars race on set tracks. There's a set track, that anyone can look at and understand where the race will go. Air racing (at least the ones I've seen) have a bunch of pylons over the area, and it's not the easiest t...

You can access T3 at YYZ from a sidewalk to Airport Rd. It's actually only about 200/300m to the road. From Airport Rd to downtown Toronto, it's theoretically possible, however it would take 5 hours according to Google, and it's not a particularly inviting walk. Interestingly you can't walk to T1. The Dash8-300s will outlive the CRJ-200s. When the Dash8s are retired, Jazz will likely be only CRJ-900s and Q400s. It makes sense that routes that are currently on the Dash 8 will be replaced with the Q400. The handful of airports that cannot receive the Q400 will likely be removed from the AC/QK n...

YUL is a maintenance base for Jazz, YBG is not.

It makes a lot more sense to return to YUL, Where a new aircraft and crew can be organized, rather than continue to YBG and ground the aircraft up there for as long as it takes to get the maintenance crew to get up there and replace the parts.
