Re: Next wave of TATL per Boyd Group

I like Boyd, but what airline is left to add these? The ULCCs are all but dead across the Atlantic. Norwegian just said they are going to curtail growth. Sort of cross-posting from the DL focus city/AF/KL thread, but both sides have confirmed CMH has been talking to DL. AMS would be within 757 rang...

Re: What happened to the proposed UA/US merger in the early 2000s?

Let me correct myself. I am looking at the business cards mentioned in my previous post. There are four separate cards. US AIRWAYS, DC Air, MidAtlantic and PotomacAir. It is the Potomac Air logo that was a stylized Capitol Building. Didn't PotomacAir use the certificate of the what would have been ...

Though not officially labeled one of DL's focus cities, MSY officials have been talking with AF an awful lot lately, since the end of last year. DL is by far the largest legacy carrier there, and has recently built an all-new larger Sky Club that will be opening in the fall. I realize that it's com...

Not well-known, but CMH was a focus city in the mid-2000s, though more in the operational sense as it was centered around the RP ERJ operation DL assumed from HP. I found a CRAA newsletter about a year ago from late 2004 where the term was used.
