With the ongoing construction project at SLC, the operation there has been a challenge for most of 2021. I seem to remember lots of talk about an Indian airline in the mid-to-late 2000s which operated flights from India to/from LHR using an MD-80 with multiple stops in each direction. There may have even been a trip report at one point on here.
