Re: A321XLR’s rear fuel tank demands special fire-protection conditions

Not sure how far back this tank goes, but if that indented portion is around the emergency exit doors aft of the wing, the slides are not attached to the door but in the fuselage below the door, this could be to access and service the slides and bottles. Bingo. Although the slides are serviced/chan...

Re: Breeze - News and Discussion Thread - 2021

Now that Breeze has operated flights for a bit, I'm curious to know how the routes are doing in terms of load factor as well as profitability. Considering it is not a publicly traded company, nor a major airline, they typically don't have to do the quarterly earnings press releases. So, unless Bree...

Also, since COVID, TPA doesn't see too many larger aircraft. Their Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts always post when a big plane comes in (Atlas 747-400, AN-124, etc.) since the biggest we typically see is the PrimeAir 767s, FedEx/UPS 767s, A300s, MD-10s/-11s. Re: Jetblue A320 refurbish thread

Thanks for the insight! Spotlight seems to be pretty popular, but I feel like that will fade once the “newness” is gone and it ends up on 40 of the planes (cough cough highrise) Still, pretty sleek looking. As much as I loved the stripes tail, 640 was in desperate need of paint. Looked way too worn...

When the number of planes needing refurbishment dwindles, it would be nice to see “Christine” (N503JB) be repainted in Stripes before her retirement. 556 was definitely a head scratcher. https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10162363 (Not my photo) Yeah, it seems weird, but it could have been a matter of the last paint job not holding up requiring a lot of touching up on the fuselage, or even the aircraft not being included in the wing repainting that...
