RE: Addis Ababa To/from Djibouti On ET

The Sheraton Addis is like any luxury American hotel transplanted into the middle of some of Addis' slums. I went there once during my stay to exchange money in the lobby, it was during the time Clinton was there to open an AIDS clinic and incidentally he had one of the private cottages reserved for...

RE: Tour De France - Will Lance Make It 6?

Dl757-Agreed, maybe my wording wasn't exactly correct but you clarified everything. I just meant to say that watching "Lance Chronicles" and speaking to different cyclists, its clear that Lance puts emphasis on the Tour more than anything else. So do Tyler and Jan, but it just seems that I always se...

RE: Tour De France - Will Lance Make It 6?

DL757- What I said is not an opinion--it is a well known fact that Lance indeed spends most of his season in preparation for the Tour. Not saying that other riders dont, but they intend to win other races. I was speaking on a general note when i said that--of course Hamilton and Ullrich train for th...

RE: Tour De France - Will Lance Make It 6?

Lance looks very strong this year but one has to realize that his team is completley built around him and willing to make every sacrifice just for him. Sure, other teams are built around their team leaders (Rabobank-Levi Leipheimer; Phonak-Tyler Hamilton; T-Mobile-Jan Ullrich, etc) but Lance is righ...

Poland is not that bad. Except they steal your radio from your car. Walking alone at night is perfectly safe in Krakow. You may encounter some weird people but generally there are always other people on the street so they wouldnt do anything to you.
