I am troubled by the comment about CBS coverage. I think that something as important as a National Convention regardless of party should be given priority over a reality show. This evening there was an all white 707 in the pattern at Des Moines. Could not catch the callsign but it was identified as an E-6. Any background on what this aircraft is doing and whom operates it?

Addition Of Letter To Callsign

I was listening to the scanner recently and on contacting approach the crew mentioned that the cabin was depressurized. After that the callsign included a letter at the end. It was Flagship 714 Alpha. What the reason for this? What are the procedures for a depressureization?

Thanks
