At the rate DL is cutting BOS, you wonder if they need the A-satellite ever again. They might not need them right now but no way they're gonna give them up. Gate space is pretty valuable in BOS and Delta has shown they're not planning on just handing BOS over to AA/B6. I must have missed something ...

I think the DL Aug numbers is actually the average of their Aug/Sep numbers. I believe everything for DL is for September and not August. In an email today, employees in ATL were told that starting July 1st all personal leaves will be terminated. No further leave requests or extensions will be granted. It might even be fleet wise. From what I have been hearing, all MDs and 777s will be retired. (I personally am sad at both.) The future fleet 717s- Heavily downsized, most likely all will be moved to ATL, and get replaced by A220s. 737s- 737-700s and 737-800s will likely get replaced by 737-900ERs ...

They're definitely focused on May first. At least as of now there will be more flying across the Atlantic and Pacific than there is right now. It could go month-by-month for a while, but I think eventually there will be some announcements of seasonal Atlantic flying being cancelled for this summer.
