It may not be as glamourous to bus it, but for shorter trips, especially when the weather is poor, it might be faster. Even charters get delayed.

Jump to postAt Oshkosh this year it was really clear that their target market is own/operators of aircraft used for business. You start the the SR-20. Jump to postI wonder how the airline would characterize Christmas day. I think to be consistent they would have to use GMT, midnight to midnight on the 25th. If not, then the shutdown could span more than 24 hours. If so, then they could still be technically flying on Christmas day in some parts of the world.

I read somewhere that the 757 was optimized for the -200's wing and that they never intended to stretch it. I forget which book I read this in or I would cite it. Anyone else hear this?
Jump to postHi All, With SFO getting 3 of the UA 777-300ER's what routes can we expect them on? My guesses are HKG and PEK. Thanks! Jump to postMy guess is wake turbulence. The sudden bank accompanied by a brief period of turbulence in what was otherwise smooth air are the symptoms of wake turbulence. Jump to postIn the case of the Washington Nationals their Delta charter always has the same flight number: 8890. Last year this was also true when they flew with UA.
