Wonderful trip report. One of the best i've read. Thanks for sharing with us!
Jump to postDoes anyone have any info on LOT 7525 from EWR to MIA?? operated by a 788 SP-LRD. Is this a flightaware glitch or a charter?
Jump to postI love seeing posts about one of my favorite planew of all time- the Continental 762s! I used to fly on them from EWR-IAH. I remember some of them were bought by UTair in Russia. A few of these are now being stored in Teruel Spain. Not sure what their fate will be. One of them i remember was VP-BAG ...
Jump to postHi Capitalflyer, i read on twitter it was a medical emergency
Jump to postPakistan is a beautiful country with a great aviation history! I am particularly fond of their 772 in the retro livery!

Does anyone know why P4-XTL flew from Denver to Opa Locka OPF, at 1220am?
Jump to postTry contacting Hi-Fly. They have the size of plane you need but im not sure of availability. Good luck!
Jump to postI recommend that every flight should have 1 or 2 DALEKS on board to prevent these incidents.
Jump to postOk... 2 things.. The OP stated that YULALG is also there to enhance tourism between the two points. I understand the French VFR traffic but what tourism are they looking to cultivate in Algeria? I'm honestly intrigued. 2. Why would BOM be dehubbed if its the most populous city in India. Even if its...

How about St. Barts with an A380? Would they have to block off seats?
I'm the rare one who loved the world tails and also the Landor livery! Fond memories of seeing them growing up close to EWR.
I would LOVE to see BA A380 in Landor!
As awesome as the sound is in this video, it immediately makes me think "what if it hit the plane"? Does anyone know how common these balloons are? I would think a collision would pose greater risk than any bird. Of course there arent many birds at cruise alt.
Jump to postFUK No - Cant see this one happening. I am still waiting for direct service from the US or EU to my favorite Japanese city, Sapporo
Id like to see the AN225 converted to a water tanker. Wonder how much it could drop.. ok back on topic- I think the 733s would be sitting or scrapped otherwise so i guess its a good thing
Jump to postI used to fly often from EWR to IAH on CO 762 in the mid 2000s. I loved the aircraft but remember that they didnt carry a lot of passengers. I believe the 757s had more seats.
Jump to postWe're expecting an hour and 17 minutes this morning over to DETROIT
Jump to postLooks like China Eastern gave birth to a special livery inspired by Korean air and Malaysia!
Jump to postIn regards to Baku, ive flown multiple times this year from JFK, London, and Dubai loads were 50% in both cabins.
Jump to postHow long will it be before we see all the "air ambulance chasers" lawyers come out of the woodwork.
Jump to postCould their 789 or A350 get out of Jackson Hole with a full load? Ive been there on a 737 and that was a lot of fun
Jump to postAP-BEQ is the reg of the A310. I remember a couple years ago one of the 310s was hit by bullets approaching Peshawar- that was AP-BGN.
Jump to postThey would be in better shape if Frank Lorenzo was running the show
Jump to postIs it possible the extra passengers flew to Saudi Arabia in the style of Clay Lacy 'the human fly'?
I understand that one important purpose of the Internet is to allow people to express views, no matter how stupid or ill-informed. But having lived through a number of Presidents, all of whom were imperfect but all of whom tried to do their best for their country based upon their own view of what i...

While we are at it, how about Detroit to Mauritius?
Jump to postTurkmenistan. I have only seen them at NYC area airports as GOVT/VIP. Sweet looking 77L
Jump to postThis Adam Saleh was kicked off the plane for being an A-hole, not for speaking Arabic. Another loser looking for $ and attention. He deserved to get his ass kicked for delaying this flight
Jump to postHaving lived in Colombia and seeing the beaches in Cartagena- cant figure out why tourists in AMS would want to go there when Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire are closer, cleaner and safer.
Jump to postI assume these routes are lucrative for cargo.

I heard they are planning a daily Dubai- Aspen with an A380. They also will announce on Friday, 2 flights a day from Dubai to St Barts. They are just waiting to see if they will be weight restricted
Jump to posttypical "i will try to get rich off of this" How much does she deserve? 1 million? 20 million? Give me a break
Jump to postWhy didnt they divert to Tashkent or Ashgabat? I would have also used TOGA
Jump to postWhat about Newark to St Barts using an Airbus A340-500 ? TOGA and if the weather is bad divert to Asmara, Islamabad or Urumqi?
Jump to postI heard that you must use TOGA in these cases and divert to either Ashgabat, Baku or Detroit.
OpenSkies has been rumored to start a new route. Newark to Bishkek utilizing an all business configuration 747-8 with stops in Asuncion Paraguay and Detroit. Line Captain David Dik Dalek
