EP-ITD was moved to Bandar Abbas today. This has become an ATR base, for the airline. New routes to Shiraz, Chabahar, Zahedan, Ahwaz, Kerman, Isfahan, Abu Musa, Iranshahr, Asaluyeh, and Kish, planned as IR receives more ATR aircraft. Next ATR delivery is in December or January. EP-ITE and EP-ITF were delivered this morning, flying from Toulouse via Athens to Mehrabad, where a ceremony was held. Next delivery will be a Airbus A320 or another ATR in December. Average age of fleet is now 21.6 years.

From the 23rd of March, KLM will reduce Tehran service from 4-3 weekly flight. Also Antonov An-124 flew to Tehran yesterday, bringing Helicopters to the country. Thats it in terms of news this week

This ban will not occur. I believe the EU will put pressure on America to not do this. Airbus wants these orders for the A330NEO and A35K. Boeing needs these orders for the 777X/W.

They should order 788. Lower capacity opens up new opportunities for the airline. Good alternative to the A380 and 777 for routes which need smaller aircraft. I expect the 787-8 is too small. Attention LHR spotters

Today the Iran Air A330 will land at lhr for the first time. Scheduled arrival is 14:15 local time. Departure back to Tehran at 17:00. This is very late notice, but im sure some of you may want to see it. Less than 2 hours until it arrives. :D
