Hi all, checking if any of you have any information on Peach Aviation latest A320ceo delivery. Apparently JA821P delivery ended abruptly in Dubai on 27th July 2018 and there is no update since. Skyliner-aviation.de reports that she is NTU. Anyone has any idea? Much thanks in advance. Airbus A320-21...Jump to post

Like what other posters said, I think it's definitely not a sure thing yet. Delta is a buyer that is well-known to be price-sensitve. If Boeing offers a killer-price which Airbus is not willing to match, it will be a no brainer for DL. But with all the recent top-up orders for A321CEOs, the momentum...Jump to post
Just a FYI, a CS300 test aircraft has just landed in Toulouse today.Jump to post
I'm still not getting PMs. People must not like beer. My wager offer is for the end of 2018. Either: 1) Deal with JetBlue. 2) 15% larger order book for the CSeries. As per quick Wiki, that means selling 54 more frames. I am in California at the moment. Great craft brew here. How 'bout UAL getting a...Jump to post
Not trying to say they are one family but now Airbus can sell the aircraft as package from as low as 100 seats to as many as 240 seats in a High Density A321neo. For example JetBlue, I'm willing to be their interest in the CSeries has skyrocketed over the E2 since its now basically Airbus's program...Jump to post
That is not disproving what I said. The point remains. Saying they are one family is not true. There is nothing shared between the 2 frames. If Airbus bought 50% in Boeing, the 737 and A320 would not all of a sudden be in the same family. I wasn't saying that CS100/CS300 are the same family with A3...Jump to post
This is exciting, I hope DL decides to order even more CSeries as a result of this decision, it is a great sized aircraft for many of their routes. I cannot wait to see them in DL's fleet next year! True. But I think it also depends on how soon Airbus can get thier Mobile assembly line ready for C ...Jump to post

Idk why it doesn't allow me to modify the the first post anymore. But according to LeahamNews, Delta could wait for the Modile Assembly line to finish before taking delivery.
@Bombardier: @Delta has option to wait for Mobile
And also this CS100/CS300/A320neo/A321neo lineup will be scary in the NB market.Jump to post

Sorry, I've not kept up...
Although I'm a big fan of A350 in AA colors, I have to admit that I don't see the necessity of AA buying A350 for their TPAC operations. Compared to UA and DL and China3, AA is a small player capacity wise. Most of the chinese routes coming out of LAX, ORD and DFW are on 787-8 which plays their role...Jump to post

So actually more -900 order may mean CX is looking at more secondary destination opportunities. This is what I was thinking; the 359 has longer legs than the 359; there's no reduction in the numbers being ordered, just a greater emphasis on the longer range model. As to the A350-1000, does that mea...Jump to post

No, a major airline intentionally schedules it with a plane with inadequate range.
Next flight for MSN 142 TG #7 after paint.

We have LH suspend for winter, now HU cutting flights, and we had in another thread discussion that airlines like BA had weak loads also at SJC.
Ready to fly home from Toulouse.

I know slightly off-topic, but how poorly is CA SJC-PVG doing? What are the load factors? You imply it's the worst performing US-China route. Is HU SJC-PEK doing better? Below 60% for CA's SJC-PVG. HU's SJC-PEK doing slightly better with 77.3% load factor. The problem with SJC is its proximity to S...Jump to post
China is rapidly losing its tarnish amongst corporations. Gone are the 'must be there strategically' positions, replaced more with an 'only if we can make profit' risk appetite. This is a difficult question. I had dinner with two aviation execs in HK on Wednesday last - both major corporations, bot...Jump to post
Indeed UA had a hard time to gain ground in secondary China market. From the most recent DOT published figure, in the relatively hot month of January, HGH - SFO only had a combined load factor of 69%, one of the worst in China - US market, only better than CA's PVG - SJC. In contrast, 3U's HGH - LA...Jump to post

VN-A146 followed her siblings footstep to the SFO.
I was on UA's SFO-XIY flight last fall and it was fairly full both in front and back, but I know nothing about how much everyone paid for their ticket. I was in paid J and the price was similar to what I'd pay to fly to PEK instead. One possible issue is the flight was not daily, and the FAs I talk...Jump to post

Who will get the 100th A350? I think we are at 97 now although the tracking sheet says 94. Side note on A350s - most carriers who started with (relatively) low numbers of A350, are now topping up, as is probably with this order as well (CI). An indication of happy customers? UA's 789 takes a full load of passengers and some cargo on nearly every flight. Rarely (occasionally in the winter), does it need to block a few seats. Most days, it won't even need to block seats on the upcoming LAX-SIN leg. Airbus fans never want to admit how great the 787 is. I work for UA in op...Jump to post
