Re: Hawaiian Airlines to fly between Hawaii and the Cook Islands

HNL-RAR is almost exactly the same distance as HNL-PHX and the A321NEO does fine on that. Not saying it can't do it, but HNL-PHX has alternates which need to be taken in to account for HNL-RAR. Probaby PPG, TRW and PPT would be the most likely. The A321xlr can likely do LAX-RAR. Something for AA? E...

If you're going to take UA, bear in mind you will likely be flying on some of the oldest 777-200 fleets without seatback IFE, particularly if they are of the PW engine variety. Opt for the UA 777-300ER instead.

As for the wide bodies, I doubt it. Likely the dimensions would be slightly different from modern aircraft, causing them to not entirely fit. What if the windows are at a different height or spacing? Even a few centimeters could cause a mismatch. I too was wondering about that for the heavies. I kn...

Suppose the Signature interior existed prior to first showing up in 1995 on the 777. While we mainly have seen DL apply the Signature across 757s and 767s, and even applied a variation of it to the 319's and 320's, could the Signature interior, including pivot bins, have been retrofitted on older ai...

So I'm wondering if Delta has a hub at SFO. Delta had a route from NRT to SFO but it was removed back in 2014. If Delta had a hub at SFO, it would be small because United has a large hub for transpacific flights at SFO. Also, Delta would use the A330neo or A350 for SFO long haul routes. The NRT-SFO...
