Money. It costs money to have a ground crew move the plane from A to E. They also need an escort from airport ops to make it happen. so JFK-SKB/BZE make a lot of sense. It just completes their Caribbean map. I've lost track of which airports they don't serve. RDU-MCO brings back a rather under performing COVID route that I don't see getting any better. They also still have RDU-CUN 2x weekly and brought back RDU-SJU a while back....

I would argue that RDU has done a good job and will continue to see good growth. Same with MDW. RDU got Breeze and Sun Country to come as well as Avelo which now has RDU as a focus. I would think DFW would want a headhouse for all other international carriers. Keep AA at D and move all other foreign flags to F. But it seems DFW is pandering to AA.

meh... I always secretly wanted a Gen2 CR2.. 50pax with all of the fuselage mods and interior rolled in the CRJ-1000...alas but there were no engines. Same here.
