IIRC wasn't the last 744 Pax version similarly stored for ever before being scrapped - i think it may of done initial test flights but was NTU and never resold

One of the A380 orders was cancelled and the other transferred to a holding company with little history so it may be a prelude to cancellation or someone trying to sell the orders on.

Think all the 748s are still on Boeing's books
