BA LHR -MIA

Every day BA209 arrives to MIA but is never listed on MIA flight arrivals. On the BA website this flight is always listed as canceled. The aircraft parks at the passenger E24 gate so dont think its a cargo flight. The BA Source website never lists the flight as cargo or repatriation. BA website does...

Re: Why no flight from Wick to Glasgow, but there is from Wick to Aberdeen and Edinburgh?

In my flight log from September 1972 I have a flight logged from WIC-ABZ-EDI-GLA on a Viscout. I remember the plane was in BOAC colours and after GLA was bound for PIK. I was on a camping trip to Orkney and Shetland and flew up to Shetland GLA-INV-WIC-KOI-LSI on a BEA Viscount. Then flew down LSI-KO...

I have many fond memories of flying on the B727. - A milk run on Eastern from MIA-TPA-THL-ATL. - Iberia from MAD to LHR and an arab sheik with hareem of about 12 handing out wads of 20 pound notes to each one before landing at LHR. - Flight on a combi 727 of SAM from GUA to SJO. - Flight on a PANAM ...

Re: Where in the world can you still spot a 727 or a 737-200?

I had a fleeting glimpse of a 732 on Monday in TGU Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Unfortunately did not have enough time to see what airline as I was on an ATR 72 of Avianca on taxi for take off.

Strange Flights Over Syria

With Syria being a country at war you can very often see some strange flights over the country on Flight Radar 24. Have other members noticed this???. Just about every day if you look on FR24 you can see one or two flights in the North West of Syria with flight numbers TCS. They seem to originate in...

Re: Why are Airbus Windows so Small

Being a tall bloke I now suffer from neck pain for a few days after a flight from straining to look out the window. That never happened on the Viscount, Vanguard or Caravelle!!!. They had great windows.

Re: Insane Airline Prices

Many thanks for the replies to my post and the advice given. I just wish to inform you that I finally managed to obtain the tickets to Rome with a stopover in Miami on the return that I wanted with the price that I wanted and all on AA flights. My experience might help fellow a.net users. I kept loo...

Insane Airline Prices

I wonder if other members of this site are having the same trouble as myself in booking flights for their trips. The whole system seems to have gone crazy and with no logic to prices. Look at prices today and tommorow they can be double or triple. Have the airlines gone overboard in letting their co...

Re: SANA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Looks more like the military hangers were hit and not the civil terminal. But on the tarmac you can see several civil airliners destroyed.

Sana'a International Airport

Hello, this is my first post on the site after being a daily visitor for more than 15 years. I was just reading an article about the war in Yemen and so decided to have a look around the place on Google Earth. I found quite a surprise on having a look around SAH, Sana International Airport. The plac...
