Re: Ethiopian terrible teen Boeing 787 stored/grounded

Sorta off topic but are they using the 787s as a one for one replacement of the 763? Where are they going? planespotters.net is your friend: 6 still in service I believe (incl. one on UN duty), 12 763s gone to a wide variety of destinations (e.g. El Al, Amazon, Polar, MIAT Mongolia, Azur etc. etc.)...

LH runs a 340 either a 300 or a 500/600 to SJC. They sometimes sub out SFO-FRA with a 340. I believe SFO-MUC is also a 340.

They will need more than one 748 to replace the E4B fleet. I expect we will see the E-4B (and E-6) replacements combined into something that would use the 767-2C / KC-46A platform rather than the 747-8. Didn't that happen with the E-10 MC2A with Northrop Grumman? They sold that to Bahrain. If they ...

It's about 2 to 1 GE to RR for each 787 order. That means a good amount of airlines have RR Trents so that means lots of them have issues. With over 450 with RR engines, i assume a good majority have some issues.

Allegiant operates these flights with the 757 which is the only ETOPS certified type in their fleet. AS flies 737s often and so does Kaiser Air. ETOPs 737s can. (does WN have E...
