Re: Reports of crash in Kathmandu, Nepal

Sad, Another crash / accident in 2018. I think it is still too early for the reports from the surviving passengers and black boxes.

KTM should definitely have ILS systems especially when the lay of the land commands terrains and adverse weather conditions frequently.

Re: Pegasus 737 runway landing excursion in Trabzon

The TOGA scenario leaked all over the news, and I spoke with someone who happens to be an examiner/instructor (don’t know the correct term sorry) and he confirmed the story as well, i actually have a video of the same situation simulated on simulator. But I don’t think I am allowed to share it. Sen...

Re: What's the most number of stops you've made on a trip between two cities?

Interesting you should mention Phnom Penh. My longest number of stops was a flight from PNH > BKK last year which ended up as PNH > BKK > PNH > VTE > DMK and a total journey time of 3 weeks for a direct line distance of 500km. Those first 2 flights (PNH > BKK > PNH) were on the same afternoon and d...

Re: Thai AirAsia - We Make A Mistake But Do You A Favour By Asking You To Pay Us More To Fix It

I flew out of DMK with Thai Airasia 'FD' last week. The lines manager was rude and down right non co-operative for even the smallest things. We let it go because, we made a mistake in one of my friends name and it did not match the one in the passport. We basically forgot to put in his last name and...

precisely. This should be considered as a runway incursion. I thought this happened during taxiing, but this is clearly in the path of an incoming landing aircraft.

SQ31 SFO-SIN routing queries

Hello, I was looking at the flightpath taken by sq31 and can see that it takes a more northerly route on some dates and on others, it just cuts across the pacific. What gives? For example on Mar1 : https://www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/sq31#c9b5d90 , flight time 17:15 but on Feb26 : https://www...
