Also do keep in mind that the LH group is requiring that all of their airlines now have white engines to simplify substitutions and help out during maintenance issues. That way one spare fits all (aircraft/engine-wise). So as sad as I am to say this, I'm afraid this might be (or might be close) the ...Jump to post
Why not just sue American, I mean weren't they the ones who gave Boeing the idea of the 737 MAX?Jump to post
Well that just threw a major curve ball to my plansJump to post
Yeah its alright, thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I'm definitely in love with those wooden finishes JetBlue installed in the Pantry. Gives the cabin a more warmer feeling. Thanks again, can't wait to see this for myself some dayJump to post
I have some photos of the interior. But I don’t know how to post pics from a mobile device Do you have Imgur? upload them through there, and paste the shareable forum link. Or post them on twitter? I can try the imgur route later when I have time. Hey man did you ever figure out how to upload the p...Jump to post
They clearly missed an opportunity with the SAN-LAS market, now that Delta Spirit and Frontier have all successfully entered the market. From what I’ve noticed here in SAN, Alaska focuses more on the north-south corridor while southwest is more focused on the west to east corridor. While Alaska also...Jump to post

Why does AA sometimes fly 757s to PHX? Wouldn't it make more sense to operate a A321 or a A320 and save the 757s for where their performance and range is a must? From my limited knowledge, I believe is because these 757s arrive from Hawaii in the early morning, and their next turn isn't till around...Jump to post
Last time I had a go around was about a year ago into San Diego , no pilot announcement or anything, we just went around and landed again as if it was a routine landing. Some people during debarring called it "intense" but that was about it.Jump to post

Do we know what the inaugural routes for the 787 are? Also, I remember reading somewhere that they planned on replacing the 787 with 77W on the IST-MEX-CUN route, is this still correct?Jump to post
Unfortunately the SSJs became a bad investment for Interjet, as these aircraft have caused them to cancel routes, reduce staff, and lose a huge amount of money. I really do hope they get back in their feet as they are my favorite airline in Mexico, and they've always had the best service. My airport...Jump to post
So, no one was able to spot the plane on its night ferry flight to ORD? Believe it or not people sleep at 3 AM, that aside I believe instagrammer DieCastJames was the only person to get a close up of the new livery, depending of what you would define as a close up: https://i.imgur.com/THbCju4l.jpgJump to post

A major carrier in the US has just announced to reduce their seat recline on their A320 fleet by a few inches in both first class in economy, citing "personal space" as the reason behind this movement. For example, Seat recline in First Class will be going down from 5 1/2 inches to 3 1/2 i...Jump to post
My guesses (in order of likelihood; top being most likely): - New int’l service to Europe (KEF, DUB, LGW) - New hub in Austin or Midwest (CLE, IND, CMH, CVG, or MKE) - Creation of JetBlue Express type brand or JetBlue Shuttle and/or new aircraft (ERJ-145, CRJ, or A330) - Buyout of Frontier/Spirit/W...Jump to post
Not during April fools but a few weeks ago I was on a Friday evening flight from San Diego to Vegas, which tend to have a rather more "happier" crowd. As soon as we landed, the FA introduced the city as Kalamazoo Michigan, which was followed by a few question marks and a yelling across the...Jump to post
So why don't we just title this thread "Thoughts on (Southwest, JetBlue, Spirit, Allegiant, Frontier, Volaris, Interjet, VIVA, Ryanair, Wizzair, Vueling, FlyDubai, or literally almost every LCC out there) reliance one one fleet type?Jump to post

What's up with everyone hating on American's party mode, I have to say it looks beautiful, and does give the cabin life, which would otherwise look dull with the average white/blue interior. I don't get it, you guys say you miss something, then when another airline implements it its no longer ok. I ...Jump to post
Sad to see my favorite low cost carrier suffering. Unfortunately, an airline which had the best legroom, low prices, free snacks/drinks, and a high baggage allowance, coupled with low load factors was never meant to last. I hope that they get well soon.Jump to post
Hey guys, I was looking through instagram and I found this shot which shows American's newest family member in the "Party" mode. Does anyone else out there have more images of the cabin. I've already seen the images taken during delivery maintenance. Also, thoughts? Personally, I love the ...Jump to post
It's easier for southwest to find a replacement for those flights since their MAX already operate routes that their current NGs could easily do. The problem here would be with American, which flies a few routes that no other narrow body on their fleet is capable of doing. Also, would southwest or Am...Jump to post
I know speculating is probably the least a non-expert in the field like me should be doing. But considering the fact that the third Body was taken longer to find, do we know if something in the lines of the FedEx 705 incident that happened years ago could be somewhat what happened here?Jump to post
I think they should rename the airport "Charles Lindbergh International Airport". What was the last airline to operate 757s at SAN? SAN still sees UA and DL 757's: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UAL994/history/20190305/0110Z/KEWR/KSAN 757-200 https://flightaware.com/live/flight/DAL97...Jump to post
Here's the thing, does a family of 5 carry 5 tablets? Guys, don't forget that the Deltaflot livery only lasted around 7 years.
Or the Interim livery for that, which only lasted for 3 years
Although, I don't see this happening with American's livery soon, but I do doubt that It'll last as long as AA's chrome livery
Not sure if you guys have seen it, but a few days ago I flew on Entourage Air, the only aircraft currently with the new interior.
Its a great product for Alaska, I'm just not onboard with the idea of it replacing Virgin America's interior
Hello everyone, I know we already have a thread to track A320s being repainted, but I haven't found any thread regrading the new interior. Yesterday, I saw a post of what seems to be the first Virgin America A320 retrofitted with the new Alaska Interior. And as sad as I am to do this, I feel like it...Jump to post
