Man I remember prior to covid the 700 would always do a daily SEA-OAK-SEA turn. It was actually the second to last flight I ever took prior to stay at home orders, with my last flight being on no other than a Virgin America Cabin... so at least it was a good way to out.

I have. a photo of an American A321 engine cowling where one piece is a shade lighter than the rest of the engine cowling. So yeah, they do have slightly different shades of gray.

It's really hard to tell, since they did buy VX for their SFO network, but at the same time they seem to be focusing more on OAK and SJC traffic. Although who knows, maybe with the arrival of OW they might even rival to a small extent United's network at SFO.

Some of you haven't endured Mexico city Airport the way I have and it shows. Yes the airport has a good variety of shops, but during peak hours, its impossible to even find a seat, find a charging station, or find a store with less than 15. people in line. Then don't get me started with the arrival....

Starting off 2020 with some good news, while booking flights, I just realized American will re-start JFK service some time in January, As I am currently booked on a flight on the 18th. The schedule will be the following.
AA2458 departs SAN at 7:25AM, arriving at JFK at 15:43PM.

Personally I can't picture the 787 as a replacement for Rouge's fleet. But that's just me, while the 787 works well with airlines like scoot and Jetstar. I'd see the NMA as a better replacement, but not the 787 or A330.

I had a picture that I can't seem to find right now, but a while ago American switched their shade of grey on their new livery. As I flew on an A321 which had a spare part put in which had a slightly lighter shade of gray then the rest of the plane.

Both Turkish airlines and La Compagnie (not sure if other airlines) have opted on deactivating and blocking 3R/L, which basically means they're operating their A321s with 4 exit doors and 4 overwing exit doors.

Not sure if it’s a permanent change or a one-time substitute, but Delta 1079 from Seattle to SAN today was an A220. Usually an A320. Also do keep in mind that the LH group is requiring that all of their airlines now have white engines to simplify substitutions and help out during maintenance issues. Why does AA sometimes fly 757s to PHX? Wouldn't it make more sense to operate a A321 or a A320 and save the 757s for where their performance and range is a must? From my limited knowledge, I believe is because these 757s arrive from Hawaii in the early morning, and their next turn isn't till around...
