Ridiculous to reject that pic.

The signs add quite some "airport atmosphere" to the pic, but obvioulsy...

The three letter codes (JFK, LAX, LHR,...) are IATA codes. These are "more common" - as you can finde them in timetables or on tickets The four letter codes (KJFK, EHAM, RJTT,...) are ICAO codes. I also think LH won't begin to completely phase out the 737 before 2006 or 2007 - that would mean they'll remain in the fleat at least until 2007 or 2008... However the A318 would make sense, but: i don't think, they will replace all 737 with A318/A319/A320 for several reasons... A lot might depend ...

imho the main issues are: - absolutely no support from the city council of Dusseldorf with holds 50 per cent of the airport - lack of a useful "airport concept" for Northrhine-Westfalia. - abolition of slot restrictions came too late - location of the airport close to densely populated areas
