Re: Investigation gone quiet on AA300 incident

It's that type of technique that contributed to the hard landings seen on the Gulfstream aircraft resulting in the ADs. Tell me more about this, I'm out of the loop. https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all-news/2022/may/12/hard-landings-prompt-gulfstream-operation-limitations Data showed the pilots...

Re: Investigation gone quiet on AA300 incident

Hmm, something something large unnecessary amounts of rudder input from the pilots on an American Airlines Airbus taking off from JFK on runway 31L. I think I've seen something like this before. Using full control input on a FBW is no way to fly a FBW aircraft. It's that type of technique that contr...

99% of you missed the sudden and deliberate pitch down at 20 ft causing the “firm” landing…never in my 30 years of airline flying would I have or ever done that in a transport category aircraft. I've always wanted a scale comparison of how big a 737 winglet is to a person when they are standing next to it. Guess this takes care of that!

Also that many people standing on the wing at once can't be good for the plane can it?

That's ridiculous. They declared an emergency and never told the ATC they were going to dump fuel. And if the ATC had vectored them where they did, all the pilots had to say would be "unable" or tell them they needed to dump fuel first and they'd get new vectors. Pilots fly planes, and pi...

How are you screwed over the ocean? The aircraft can easily be ripped apart if it tries to ditch in the ocean. See US 1549 or that Ethiopian flight hijacked by terrorists. It depends on how dire the engine situation actually was. Why would you ditch for an engine failure? US 1549 did. Well, rather ...

You can see in this video that there was a small flash right before the huge flames. That flash can only be some detonation either a missile or the engine.
