A little exaggeration on your end? Driving is a privilege, not a constitutional right; so, according to you, one moving violation (such as speeding) and you can no longer drive??? The guy needs to be punished according to existing laws, he should get counseling (both anger and alcohol); but "b...Jump to post

The inaugural flight had 6 passengers. I mean it’s still flying so that’s good. Know couple people around the area th...Jump to post

It's an oddball question, but but bear with me. Driving north this morning and watched an AS 737 in new livery take off towards west from PDX. From my distance of about a mile, and the angle of light, it looked easily mistakable the new LH scheme. Got me to wondering if there is regulatory oversigh...Jump to post

Short version? Mismanagement and an egomaniacal union leader whose actions lead the company into the hands of a feckless corporate raider. Nobody won, except the corporate raider. He is talking about the revival. Eastern II never started scheduled ops (I think due to lack of money to get necessary ...Jump to post
Now if only we can get the airport officials to allow us a good location for photographing it when it comes in. I would expect a 35R landing. Most of the international heavies land there - and during January the winds are usually from the north - providing the southern approach. There are a few gre...Jump to post

Some things to remember about the DC-10: 1) We learned that a "gentleman's agreement" on fixing deadly flaws doesn't work. AA #92 showed us that the DC-10's cargo door was not secure in the old way; planes SHOULD have been grounded until fixed. But because it wasn't given urgency, 346 peo...Jump to post
