My flight (QK8812) is now showing a 40 minute delay. However, it arrived on time and sat at the gate for over 30 minutes. They were talking about gate malfunction.
They just let zone 1 line up for boarding. So it seems like we will board soon.

Many times. My home airport is (obviously) YXU, so I drove to YYZ many times to catch a flight on an airline not serving YXU (mostly vacation charters, but there were some AA flights as well). During the covid induced border trouble I used to drive to/from BUF or DTW regularly.

Back to the numbers: I filled up the rental for $ 6.79 US/gal yesterday in San Luis Obispo, CA. Quite a difference compared to Fort Collins, Co few weeks ago. Heck, it is 15% more expensive than regular gasoline in London, ON.
It would really hurt if it would go from my pocket.

Gas buddy is showing 1.59 CAD/l at Costco in YXU. I was filling up the rental in Fort Collins, Co for 4,25 USD/gal. I did it quite often. The V8 was quite thirsty when climbing to 9000'.
