Re: Why are there no flights from Taipei to London Heathrow?

First off, EVA does fly TPE-LHR, so there are flights from Taipei to Heathrow. But no, not on China Airlines. I am not sure of the story behind why China Airlines doesn't do LHR. EDIT: It doesn't appear there is an EVA flight today...so now I'm not sure if they have stopped LHR service, or it's jus...

Re: Update on PAE (Everett) Commercial Passenger Service

I live on Whidbey and according to the Whidbey SeaTac Shuttle website, they will be offering service from Whidbey to PAE. They haven't published their schedule yet. I'm really looking forward to having PAE as an alternative to SEA.

Re: SeaTac TSA - any solutions?

Friday mornings during the summer is the worst when the cruise ship passengers head home. The airport is a total mess with lines in every direction. The TSA staff are completely unhelpful and will tell you to go to the next area just so they can try and reduce the number of people in their area. The...

I'm surprised that there isn't a premium economy cabin.

I would be skeptical of ANA buying more 380s, Their load factors outside of Asia are usually in the mid 70s to at best low 80s. Here's the latest traffic results that I could find, which is for December 2017 https://www.ana.co.jp/group/en/pr/pdf/20180202.pdf.

Re: Outstanding EVA Air Business Class ORD-TPE

EVA is now my preferred carrier to Asia. Service is always great and I love being able to choose my meal (usually about 10 main courses or so) ahead of time on their website. I agree with you about the cabin being too warm. It always amazes me that while I can't sleep because it is so hot others are...

Re: Cathay Pacific - A Dimming / Fallen Star

I just got back from a CX business class trip SFO-HKG-BKK-HKG-SFO and I have to agree that service has deteriorated dramatically. I haven't been on CX long haul in a few years. Most of my trips to BKK are now on BR since I can get fully flat seats all the way to BKK and not a regional business class...
