I miss the days of fully painted special liveries! These stickers do preserve the brand identity but they feel very generic and lack the soul and creativity of planes like Tink or Genie! I was really hoping for a fully painted AS jet for Galaxies Edge but I guess that went to UA instead :hissyfit:

What an uneducated and misleading thread. Cabin air quality incidents are not a joking matter. As others above have stated they can cause serious, life threatening issues and be very hard to trace. Kudos to the crew for standing up and advocating for their safety and the safety of their passengers.

I think the 787 is too much plane for AS at this point. The extra passenger capacity would be nice on a limited number of routes but the capabilities of the Dreamliner far exceed anything AS needs right now. They are still digesting the acquisition of VX, streamlining their ops, and figuring out how...

These colors seem chaotic and picked at random. Seafoam, lavender, maroon, etc... it just doesn’t relate or come across as a cohesive collection to me.

This sounds like a “Perfect Storm” scenario that really threw everybody off. AS didn’t handle it well at all. The behavior of the agents in BOS seems to be the polar opposite of all things AS is known for. Fortunately the pilots were able to land safely. The Flight attendants did the best they could...

AS could easily buy the E175-E2 for QX while continuing to have OO fly the current fleet of Gen 1 175’s. For better or for worse AS/QX is the only airline in the US that doesn’t have scope, so there could be a place for the E2 variants at the Alaska Air Group.

Any progress on the new terminal at BUR? That should help with airlines expanding their ops there! Also I think BUR is one of the places that will start seeing the AS airbus service when AAG starts reassigning equipment later this summer! I’m getting shades of the recent Alaska rebrand looking at this, which isn’t a bad thing! I wish the new “pixelated” or “textured” maple leaf was more prominent on the exterior of the plane, and perhaps maybe an outline on the Westjet titles... but all together this looks good inside and out!

Rumor has it that there will be another More To Love livery coming soon, but on an A321. I wonder if it will be a reversed version (blue to red) of the current MTL or the same? Maybe it will go from blue to green? Fun to imagine!

The plane CAN'T yet have Alaska branding because it's a Virgin jet flying Virgin flights. If it were operating Alaska flights they could at least say Alaska Airlines operated by Virgin America, but that changeover hasn't happened yet. Expect this to go back in the paint shop for a Chester and Alask...

Not going to lie, as much as I loved those Q’s... I’m glad to see the early builds go. They are pretty long in the tooth and are not aging gracefully. I just hope QX comes back to its original level of flying (or even grows)and these OO CR2’s can make a swift exit.
