4501 has been busy getting “upgraded” wiring done. What for, that I do not know. My guess would be WiFi. When TAM ordered the 77W it was based on the capacity that such airplane would add in a short period of time when the company was desperately trying to fill the void left by Varig bankrupcity. TAM never actually needed the full capabilities that the airplane offers such as range and huge cargo bay....

I did it in the past. I flew CUN-IAH-GRU 10 years ago. Long layover in IAH. Took a cab, went to the Galleria Mall, bought one new lugagge, fill it with lot of gifts for my kids. Took a cab back to IAH and dispatched the new piece.

Latam Brazil today is a shadow of its past. Completely lost in business losing marketshare every day. The Cuetos never knew how to make money in Brazil and made several mistakes in the past few years. I have an feeling that Azul will buy Latam or it will dye.
