Re: Western Airlines questions

Question...how long did Western Airlines offer DC-10 service from Vancouver to Hawaii? Did the route last for years, or was it a short experiment? I think I read somewhere that it commenced around 1976? I flew a Continental DC-10 pub flight from Vancouver to Honolulu in 1987...it would seem that bot...

Re: Who designed Swissair's '80s livery?

I LOVE this livery...especially on the DC-9's/MD-83s. I especially love the fact that they used brown, because its not really used very much in airline liveries (now and back then). Transair used it on their golden jets in the 70's and that's the only carrier i remember (since Fiji Airways new schem...

Nice, so glad they kept the First Air branding, great compromise, the Canadian North branding wasn't nearly as slick or current. The Canadian North bright blue tail with polar bear was pretty sweet. Personally, I think the mask needs to be larger on bigger aircraft as the mask gets a bit lost on the 777-300 and 787. The mask seems to make a bigger statement on smaller aircraft like the CRJ's and the C series, if NAVI is any indication. https://issuu.com/spafax/docs/air-canada-navi-08-201710/10
