To do that, why not start with a better interior colours, especially for their A359 J class??.....Jump to post
Not meaning to judge/take sides here in A vs B, but isn't the 359 a better suit for them? Doesn't it have more cargo than the 78J (which I assume is the one they're planning to order, as it has basically the same capacity)? The 777 will look absolutely fabulous in PY livery. I hope they do somethin...Jump to post
For the -200, in a typical 2class layout, for sure. But the demand for cargo will be the problem... Otherwise, will PY keep the SQ interior? Could be a real game changer, compared to the A340. The Havana flight is not only a leisure flight, there's quite a bit of business ties between Russia and Cuba. PUJ and CUN, on the other hand, were 100% leisure destinations, so bad yields and the fact that these last years there's a trend in Russia for domestic holidays have sealed their fate. It doesn't make any sense that they would fly all the way to New York, if they don't even fly as far as Europe. They will get slaughtered left, right and center by all inc...Jump to post
This is pure nonsense. Why do we waste time on this sort of drivel? HI everyone, I was recently in Riyadh and noticed around 10-12 Saudia wide body aircrafts parked at RUH with their engines covered. Most of them seems to be 777s. Are they parked because of Ramadan? No brainer where they will fly to as their first two int'l destinations.

Both Fukuoka and Nagoya are pretty weak though, I remember at one time a lot of premium carriers served both or either one destination, the moment a downturn came, most if not all premium carriers dropped them like a plague.
Anyhow good luck to HA.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me - what sorts of (relatively) high-yielding traffic exists between the two cities? And I doubt A333 can make it in D7/XT's config unless it's the ex-MU birds.
