They are droping Q400 and last 737's earlier than expected (now), there will be 22 a220 after flights resume. So i believe next deliveries are postponed.Jump to post
No matter Airbaltic has more than 100 million eur in acounts, goverment of Latvia will support Airbaltic with up to 150millions eur.
Share capital will be raised by 36 millions eur, including old 30million eur loan from goverment.

Here is some nice interview with BT Martin Gauss https://reader.flightglobal.com/publications-dist/1264/81157/2969/37992/article.html Gauss cites the example of the carrier’s Riga-London Gatwick route. “If I fly with the 737-300 and the A220 – it’s 145 seats in both aircraft – and we have a flight p...Jump to post
BT is stating that they use a different variant of the engine. I was wondering what exactly the difference is, making it possible to continue without any checks? How many versions of the engine are there and which operator uses which type? they are using less powerful version as swiss. BT was buyin...Jump to post

AirBaltic has changed registration. Till this one all CS was YL-CSA, YL-CSB and so on and last one YL-CSN
This one has Airbus A-series style registration YL-AAO
Only tomorrow YL-CSB will be back on air.
It's been 16 days after collision with migrating cows.
YL-CSC was up in the air after 2 days. Lack of additional spare nose/parts or some deeper inspection from bombardier/airbus before flying YL-CSB again?
The airline confirms that on September 24, an aircraft had hit the birds shortly before landing from Vienna to Riga (YL-CSB). The collision occurred over the Gulf of Riga during the BT432 flight. After the incident, the airplane continued to land at Riga airport in accordance with standard security ...Jump to post
Not sure what you mean with renting but currently there are no wet lease ops at airBaltic. Also none of the 11 737 in fleet are gone since the CS entry in the fleet. Still 5 737-500 (BBD, E, M, N, Q), 2 737-300 (BBR, S) and 4 737-300W (BBI, J, X, Y) flying around. wingflex744 At least last summer t...Jump to post
And speaking about routes. Every time I fly in Riga, 2/3 pax of late arrivals from Switzerland and Munich are transfer passengers to TLL, VNO, HEL, ARN & CPH. I believe there is place for direct flights. Of course, without complete pax numbers it's just speculation. As well there is lot of unser...Jump to post
They are renting 3-4 planes already, with all new CS they got scraped/sold only two of 737 after getting first CS. I am quite sure, that new order will replace Dash. For example BT has 5 flights daily from RIX to TLL, VNO, HEL mostly with dash, 4x to ARN, So 3x daily with CS is same as 5x with q400 ...Jump to post
cs300 - one year in commercial service
Could be Air Baltic. They are looking at replacing there leased Q400’s. There was discussions and rumours of the CS100. I would still like to see BA take an order and dominate the gates at the incoming LCY expansion. Sometime inside keeps thinking of a east European airline. too much for them. but,...Jump to post

Could be lack of pilots for CS300, as we have some flu epidemic here.
Lack of pilots could be reason also for only 4 segments a day. I think they could add two more short segments daily for CS
Departing as scheduled.
YL-CSA has been diverted 2 times because of fog (pilot qualification according ILS Cat II or Cat III approaches?)
