Re: Replacement for the 737-200s Gravel Versatility?

There is no rush for these -200 to be replaced as many of those airlines have their maintenance operations built to handle it.

VIDEO | Canadian North Airlines - 737 300C - Ottawa (YOW) to Iqaluit (YFB) | Economy

Hey guys, I recently flew up to Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada. The sole reason for this trip was to do a trip report on Canadian North. I flew into Ottawa the night before and decided to stay the night in the airport because I am still too young for any hotel to legally allow me to stay there (15 years o...

Properly cared for, aircraft will last much longer than you seem to think.

UA is doing the opposite. They seem to be ditching the aircraft over 20 years

Re: The Future of ISP

Yeah actually when I flew out of Islip in August of 17' for Frontier's Inaugural Flight video, I saw at least 50 chairs sitting in the undeveloped part of the airport is with the circle and stairs. The chairs has Delta's logo on them.

Re: Aeroflot May End Flights to the U.S. in Escalating Dispute

Yeah, I don't think Aeroflot would benefit from pulling out operations to the US. From what I know the flights are pretty full. But there is a problem with the visas taking forever. I had planned on traveling there in 2 weeks for the Victory parade but the Visas are coming in late now.

Re: The Future of ISP

I'm also a Long Islander (East Hampton). Here are some routes that I believe would do reasonable. YYZ - Air Canada Express | They have the option to operate the Dash 8 100/300 or the B1900D. Islip does not require customs as all of that can be taken care of in Toronto. BOS - I'm not sure | I know Pe...

Except for all of their MD-80s.

Yup my bad. I've actually also seen some E140's and CR2's still in old paint

Re: Q400 vs Embraer 175-E2: Death of The Quiet One?

Q400/Horizon has a big presence in Portland, but the airport is reconfiguring for a phase down. It works fine for PDX-SEA/RDM/MFR/EUG but most passengers flying farther, to Sacramento, Spokane, Boise, Oakland etc. want an E175. I 100% agree. The other week I filmed a trip report on a Q400 from Sacr...

Re: Primera Air - Will it work?

For now it works, but it's very fragile. They don't seem to push their cost savings to the limits, which is a risk because they'd lose competition from an airline that does. For now that competition doesn't exist so they can afford to spill cash but how long will that last? As for their choice of a...

Re: Primera Air - Will it work?

None of these Economy seats recline, but according to Primera's website, they are "of the highest industry standard". Lol, only if you are including Air India. Air India has a 34" pitch and 18" width in Y on their 777-200LRs. I'd choose a better example. It was a stupid joke and...

I remember watching Baywatch on Delta once. They cut out all of the inappropriate scenes including bikinis and other stuff like that.

Primera Air - Will it work?

According to Wikipedia, they are a leisure airline owned by the Primera Travel Group, an Icelandic company that consists mainly of Nordic tour operators Solresor, Bravo Tours, Lomamatkat, Hei...

Re: What's next for Spirit?

Islip (ISP) could use some more airlines. The only problem is that Frontier beat them there, although Spirit has been to ISP once before. Back in the early 2000s, before they became a larger carrier.
