ANA Business Class BKK--NRT on Boeing 787

This was my first time flying ANA Business Class and I absolutely loved both, the hard product and the service! It was the second leg of my four segment trip back from Saigon to Ottawa (SGN-BKK-NRT-IAD-YOW). I could have flown ANA business directly from SGN to NRT on a 767-300 with old angled seats,...

Thai Business Class 777-200 SGN to BKK

Thai Business class 777-200 was part of my trip back from Saigon (SGN), Vietnam to Washington DC (IAD). My complete itinerary included SGN-BKK-NRT-IAD-YOW and cost me 75K + $214 CAD using Aeroplan. A detailed and complete pictorial review of this flight is available on my blog - http://travelupdate....

First Class cabins may be a thing of past soon. And your report is good evidence that airlines are now focusing much better on their Business class products and services - that's where the cash is for them. Good Report Trent, cheers!

Flt LX 87 Montreal (YUL) – Zurich (ZRH) Aircraft: Airbus A330-300ER Duration: 7hr 25min Seat: 12A (Business Class – Throne Seat) When flying solo, my favorite seats in Business class are the ‘Throne seats’ which offer a great mix of space and privacy – 4A/6A/8A/10A. I do my best to snag them at the ...

Man Fakes Hijacking To Avoid Vacation With Girlfriend

An Indian man wanted to avoid a vacation with his ‘online girlfriend’. His masterplan was a hoax email sent to the police about a possible hijacking in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. Obviously, it all went horribly wrong for him when the authorities traced his IP address down and arrested him. Turns...

Re: UAE VISA ON ARRIVAL FOR INDIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS

How does this compare to getting a transit visa with EK to say maybe take an extended halt in DXB to sight see and then continue onward? Great Question! - Transit visa via EK is not guaranteed for Indian Passport holders. It needs to be arranged/paid in advance and can be denied - so not a true 'vi...

Agreed. Its a great development for that group of travelers, will now allow them to split their journey with a stopover. I recently paid $200 to arrange for a visa through the hotel I was staying at.

155RM for first passenger, +55/adult or +25/child. Expensive. I was trying to make a case for first timers or business travelers that don't mind the premium on the return.

Re: Kuala Lumpur International Airport - VIP Service was totally awesome!

Is this your first time in KL? All well and good for those who are willing to try it out. However.... - the VIP section of the train doesn't have good seats. You have far better elevated private seats in the non-VIP sections of the train. - if the hotels you are attempting to reach is within Zone 1...

Kuala Lumpur International Airport - VIP Service was totally awesome!

The express train that runs between Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and KL Sentral station is the quickest and most efficient way to get into the city. Most hotels in Zone 1 are a short taxi ride from KL Sentral station. I used the KLIA VIP service which includes the express train ride to ...

AC already flies to 6 destinations in Cuba, so legalities aside, I don't think they would benefit to also accessing Silver's Cuba flights. Agreed. AC wouldn't want to give up its competitive advantage having flown extensively to Cuba for so many years (incl. US embargo)...plus I suspect, getting cu...

AIR CANADA PREMIUM ECONOMY YYZ – DXB ON BOEING 777-300ER

Air Canada premium economy is a solid product and I would definitely recommend it for passengers that pre-dominantly fly coach. Given a right price-point, its great value to the additional cost and the seat comfort is a few notches better than regular economy seats. For those interested, a complete ...

CSA has something like this in Europe. I used it and got upgraded for about $100 on a flight from Prague to Barcelona. I liked the experience. Of course it probably will result in even less availability in J for those with E-upgrade credits. I think folks with e-upgrade credits will still be fine. ...
