Re: Enter Air orders up to 4 additional 737 MAX aircraft

They've got to come up with something better or there'll be too much confusion. That would be the POINT . Obviously airlines aren't going to get confused, but it'd blur in the public's mind... if indeed dropping "MAX" turns out to be their intention. Exactly. The more generic and less pre...

Re: Swiss Aviation Thread - 2020

The wider picture looks like that LH Group is trying to route connecting passengers via Hubs that offer a larger O&D amount. LEJ is losing flights to FRA (replaced by trains). So people have to transit in MUC/VIE or take the train to FRA. NUE/STR are losing flights to MUC. So they have to connec...

There wouldn’t have been any refunds (as the money would have been with the customer). Thus they would have needed more liquidity to operate and hence have more cash at hand.

It’s not about not buying in advance, but about the time of payment. Actually it’s way more common to pay when you receive a product. If you order a new aircraft or your travel package, you don’t pay everything at Time of booking. And it’s about changing future business conduct. If airlines hadn’t a...

Would not the B779 arrive from or after 2023? So B779 will definitely be the prime suspect of deferred delivery. First 779 deliveries were postponed to mid-2021 before Corona. The inofficial LH fleetpage now mentions 2022. I expect some 779-orders to be switched to 777Fs and most of the 15 remainin...
