Except for the tail logo, the livery was inherited from CAAC when it was an airline. The IATA and ICAO codes were also inherited from CAAC (airline).

IAG kept pursuing EI and they succeeded on the third try. There isn’t too much overlap in networks…Wizz serves mostly Eastern Europe and the Gulf while EasyJet serves Western Europe primarily.

Which of the A380s had been modified or were in process when travel screeched to a halt? I suspect the two being retired are those not modified. (At the time, 3 had received a new interior and 3 were receiving a new interior.)

PATH will be extended to the new station as well, but not combined with AirTrain because there is a desire to bring PATH to the South Ward of Newark, which has only an unreliable bus route now. One exit will be to AirTrain and the other to Frelinghuysen Avenue.

It could be for training. Pre-pandemic, the B788/B789 had replaced the A319 on YVR-EWR in a huge up-gauge. Now I expect either a MAX 8 or an A321.

The relevant taxiway is about as long as the closed 4R/22L, but taxiways are lighted green while runways are lighted white. The problem here was between the neck and the top of the head.

Also, I don’t believe that NK is an IATA member directly, while B6 is an IATA member airline. If a B6 flight is canceled, you probably have better luck on being rebooked elsewhere as opposed to the other LCCs in the USA.
