For the last few weeks Wamos Air aircraft have been flying very often to the Philippines, usually from US destinations with a stop in MAD before going to MNL or CEB. I have noticed that they originate from SFB, JAX, FLL, MSY or LAX to name a few. Can anyone confirm if they are related to the cruise ...
Jump to postIB will fly to SYD on April 30th for a repatriation flight. Wonder if they will take one of the new A350s or will stick to the A332 as in most other repatriation flights this week.
Jump to postI have seen on FR24 that KL flights to JNB/CPT are operating through RUN. Only reason that comes to mind is they are consolidating AF ORY-RUN and KL AMS-JNB/CPT but it makes little sense to me
Jump to postSo far we have seen very few announcements of route suspensions for US/Europe routes considering the travel restrictions start tonight. Does this mean that airlines are willing to fly almost empty flights at least from Europe to the US? Or are they still waiting to respond?
Jump to postThanks for all your responses, I do appreciate them. EK is 1600€+ r/t which seems a bit overpriced. I am inclined to book 1050€ LH/CX at 28h, not too bad, and a nice mix of aircraft with A359, B748, B77W. What do you all think?
Jump to postHey there! I need advice booking flights from MAD to SYD in Y class. My main concern is comfort over time, I wouldn't mind going 2 stops if seat/cabin comfort is better. Right now the cheapest options are Etihad via AUH on 789/77W and Lufthansa/Cathay via MUC and HKG on A359/77W. How would you rate ...
Jump to postIB29XX are usually charter flights. They have been used for Champions League games when Spanish team played. In this case, they are probably charter flights to ferry cruise ship passengers from Stockholm and Malmo ports.
Jump to postI understand from your previous posts that your reservation is with BA, so it's them who you should contact instead of QR.
Jump to postQR serves DOH-GYD-TBS with A320s and DOH-JNB-DUR. TBS and GYD combined are probably due to lack of demand to fill the plane, while the DUR hop from JNB seems to be done to improve AC usage in the downtime
Jump to postWouldn't they just send the 787-10's to expand? Although I didn't expect them to send the -9's to Cairo. They have a lot of 747 capacity to replace if many are due to leave the fleet. So it would seem natural that these new aircraft coming in will replace some of these. They will upgauge B787-9 rou...
Jump to postBesides being the gateway to one of the wealthiest regions in the world, as said above, with lots of auto and pharmaceutical connections, it is used by LH to connect many markets to Eastern Europe, as it offers a few destinations not served from FRA.
Jump to postI still fail to see the BNE-DFW route come to fruition. We've been hearing from Qantas that they want to launch MEL-DFW for some time now, which would arguably happen before BNE-DFW. 2 new flights to DFW seems an overkill IMO. PER-CDG, on the other hand, will loose some of its appeal for business tr...
Jump to postConsidering that IB A332s only have 19J seats, it would make sense to add a few rows of Y+. Those birds are flying to LAX or NRT, so the demand must be there.
Jump to postHi, a.net! I was looking for flights to Buffalo from Madrid for the summer holiday. I found a very good deal flying on a LH A380 to JFK arriving at 13:30. Then I would connect to a B6 flight leaving at 17:40 for BUF. Having flown into JFK before, I think 4 hours should be more than enough time, but ...
Jump to postI can whole heartedly concur with what opticalilyushin says - just one more thing to add. When I visited, which is a good fews years back now there were sight seeing flights to be had which flew over the island and gave an amazing view of the landscape. Well worth it. Will definitely look into such...
Jump to postIceland is one of the most stunning countries in the world, in my opinion (4 visits so far), it's definitely an outdoors place, and for most people a few days or so is enough to see the essentials. It's not the cheapest of places, so your budget will largely control how long you visit for. Anyway, ...
Jump to postHi there! I've been a reader for a few years and I recently decided to get involved a bit more, so this my first new thread. I'm considering taking advantage of the Icelandair Stopover for a trip to NYC in July. Given it would be a side trip, how long would you recommend to stay in Iceland and what ...

I can't see Norwegian operating any Canada-TFN or LPA flights. Plenty of beach destinations closer for Canadians to choose. However I wouldn't rule out some NYC or Florida flights, or an expansion to the Caribbean to places like SDQ with B738MAX.
