https://flightaware.com/live/flight/AAL9786 Strange flight today. Does AA contract work out to a vender at INT? Or are they parking some aircraft here? One 737-800 DFW-INT yesterday: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n944an#2573f20c And one 738 flying AUS-INT today: https://www.flightrada...Jump to post

My understanding was that Kodiak only applied to 738s, which part of Kodiak applies to the Oasised 321s?

Really? Are any finished yet? What is different?
A couple of updates for the B738 fleet. If someone is able to confirm these, that would be much appreciated: - N979AN is currently in TUL for the Oasis mod but it will be the first 737 with the additional changes to First Class which were announced several months back. N955NN is also in TUL for thi...Jump to post
Does anyone know if there is any truth to this? https://twitter.com/rafi602/status/1213927149956026368?s=21 Are aircraft losing big sheets of paint already? The 738 in the picture was delivered with the new livery. Very possibly this was some type of defect in preparation or materials. That aircraf...Jump to post
Nothing new here. I've already flown in September on an Envoy E175 with the livery. The grey had a mettalic flek to it and the Eagle logo had a honeycomb look to it. That’s the current livery with mica flecks, and the logo and tail has always been made up of pentagons that appear honeycomb like up ...Jump to post
This is not a rebrand. This is a minor adjustment for maintenance purposes. I think that it will be distinguishable while sitting next to the current livery, but seen in isolation it will likely be difficult to tell whether a given airplane is in the "Revised" or "original" curr...Jump to post
CLT-MCO also sees the A332 this February (presumably for the rest of Winter as well I didn't check) while CLT-PHX sees an A333. A major retrofit program is starting in January on the 332s to replace the IFE system and monitors. So this makes sense for them to reduce their flying. Thank god. The ex2...Jump to post
Appears to simply replace the 332 three days a week. I tried to find where it goes the rest of the week and did not find anything. Looking at the first week in Feb: *PHL-LAS - daily 332. Though PHL-LAS is down to 2x day in the winter like last winter. *PHL-SFO - daily 332 and 763 *PHL-SJU - daily 3...Jump to post
First post in some time... I’m curious if anyone has flown on the elusive example of the A321ceo in the new oasis configuration. https://thepointsguy.com/news/aa-project-oasis-a321-enters-service/ It appears that the retrofit regime for AA’s existing fleet of A321s has been paused due to the MAX cr...Jump to post
I’m pretty sure there will be some 787 DFW-PHL flights for rotation purposes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk So far it looks like they are routing in from both DFW and ORD. I'm not seeing any 788 flights between DFW/ORD-PHL in January. Doesn't seem like it's loaded yet. Is it on select dates? M...Jump to post
AA opening a 787 pilot base in PHL in January 2020. Starting 787 service PHL-ZRH/MAN/AMS same month. I'm wondering if the 788s will be rotated to PHL from ORD or from DFW. I'd guess DFW, but we'll see. Nothing is loaded yet, but I imagine there will have to be some type of domestic rotation since Z...Jump to post
Didn't DL go with an aftermarket product? AA and Alaska's new 321neo's still have the same old style shelf bins. This is incorrect. AA was the launch customer for new larger overhead bins that Airbus now offers which allow for bags to be placed on their side. AA is also retrofitting all of their ex...Jump to post

Has this been confirmed for the 737NG/A319/A320 fleet?
Very recently American has started stocking Narcan in the Inflight Medical Kit. Just this year, before we started carrying Narcan, I was working when we had a pax overdose. She was still unresponsive after we diverted and the EMTs took her.Jump to post
1: that airplane is back in service No its not. As I said earlier, I am told by people at AA that the airplane is in short term storage and shows out of service with a decision time of 2300 on June 25. You are correct. It is out of service still at JFK. The most recent maintenance notes are in rega...Jump to post

Um...yes they have. All the 738/321 with in-seat AVOD are being removed under the Oasis redo. If AA Leadership actually comes to the point they want to add seatback IFE, they should all be fired. The cost to do so, after all the current renovations, will be astronomical beyond present costs. And it...Jump to post
The LAA A321 is based in DFW and LAX so unfortunately no. Just curious: In such a case, what is the point of basing an aircraft at certain airports? All of these are A321-200s. I think they also are very proactive by allowing people to “pre-volunteer” for a chosen price - this allows those folks to be bumped without it being “involuntary” as long as Delta is willing to offer what they requested. Are AA going for the "popular" SpaceFlex galley/two lavs setup in the aft section on their A321NEO or are they keeping the full aft galley? It's official. The first A321 has gone in for Oasis mods at GSO. N161UW. Nice. Any idea what year this was delivered? Did they start with the oldest 321? What type of new bins will the “Oasis “A321s get? Will they be the pivot down? Or will they be like the bins installed on the A321NEOs? Does AA have a contender of what the A319 replacement might be?
