Purdue airport is owned by the university not the city or county .so no budget for expansion .. it's also on a hill so can't be expanded easily ... IND and ORD are both close by .. no need to re-invent the wheel :)

FedEx used to fly 747 charters LAX to OYO (Yokota) CI flew to HND and the rest to NRT ..also OYO is open 24/7. So if a plane reaches NRT after curfew it must divert to OYO and wait to fly to NRT not a great option ..

It has an air bottle for emergency opening also it can be lifted by hand it has a counter balance so it is not heavy to "roll up" 767 door is very similar

GUM-DPS used to work because Japan airlines did not serve DPS.. so CMI (CO) could fill a few D.C.-10s later 757-200s a week.. once JAL came it was pretty much over ..

How do u apply the brakes in case of a breakaway ?? Run the apu and you have power and brakes (electric pump) safely first

WW 3 plan was to drop the bombs. Fly to CEB Philippines .. The US built a HUGE parking ramp there. On Mactan Island . abandon the airplane and "go local" in the Central or Southern Philippines..

Short answer is no .. Most cargo airlines. Don't. Have flight attendants so that would. Mean 14 or less pax not worth the trouble .. And cargo airlines usually carry dangerous goods not allowed on passenger aircraft ...
