Re: FAA ungrounds Boeing 737 MAX

I think the MAX will be back in the air soon and will send NGs to the desert awaiting a post-covid world, the fuel savings are too good. Costs are everything right now. Also, if the passengers clearly avoid the MAX (I think its unlikely, but who knows), maybe the airlines can extract further damages...

Re: Southwest vs. Wall Street

* No window seat fees But this really isn't true anymore, and I think it's a clever way of pulling the wool over people's eyes. On many routes you pretty much have to buy a Business Select fare or Early Bird to not have a center seat. I've probably flown over 50 segments either to or from Southwest...

Re: Southwest Schedule Extension 6/28

Rumor has it, MDW-DSM and MDW-IAD to be resumed. Many of the high-tech businesses in the Washington, DC area are also closer to IAD than to BWI or DCA my experience of going to the high tech corridor a few miles east of IAD is that it was no quicker than going to DCA. Re: Nor’easter with High Winds Impacting the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast March 2nd and 3rd

Flew out of DCA last night on Southwest at 6pm off runway 1, with ATC reporting wind 22 gusting 58, and a Jetblue apparently unable to land being caught in wind shear on approach. Southwest didn't have any delays and it seemed like all their flights were full, maybe doing a good trade from AA proble...

Re: Southwest Schedule Extension 02/15/18

Also shocked they don't run ago Dulles or lax dulles. DULLES has not been getting much LUV lately! Is it gate problems? surely its still the fact that they got a bunch of DCA gates and more people would rather fly to DCA. Even when I was traveling to Reston, it was quicker to use DCA outside the ru...
