I think the MAX will be back in the air soon and will send NGs to the desert awaiting a post-covid world, the fuel savings are too good. Costs are everything right now. Also, if the passengers clearly avoid the MAX (I think its unlikely, but who knows), maybe the airlines can extract further damages...
