Is UA no longer operating non-stop EWR-DUS? ITA Matrix shows it, but I can't find it on United's site... And for anyone else interested in this route, LH no longer operates it and has moved EW to cover in its place. Not for almost 20 years... IIRC it went away not long after 9/11. Hmmm...I thought ...Jump to post
The CRAA feels confident that it can replace the lost CMH-OAK n/s in the next year. "We are keeping our chin up and are not overly concerned about this," said Dave Whitaker, chief commercial officer of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority. I saw the PBI mention, but didn't see this...apparently Frontier is starting CMH-PUJ, as well. February board minutes for CRAA have posted. The overall thoroughness & depth of Nardone's "President & CEO Report" commentary is great. Plenty of context and details about passenger service, numbers, & destinations. SEA, SFO, & European Hub service were mentioned in the mi...Jump to post
Thanks! I did notice while trying it that allegiant does not show. ITA Matrix doesn't show all airlines. The notable ones excluded in the States are SW & Allegiant. Many smaller airlines likely won't show either (OneJet, for example); however, the power of Matrix is still fantastic. It's used q...Jump to post

CRAA January meeting minutes have been posted. Of note, I was glad to see this quote from the new CEO: "Elaine Roberts was a successful leader at CRAA and we will continue to build on those successes; however, my leadership style will be different ". And glad to see the President & CEO...Jump to post
What happened to the rumored European service from CMH? It remains a (long running) rumor. And unfortunately, it'll remain this way for quite some time. On another note, it looks like SW is reducing frequency from daily to Saturday only on CMH-FLL. I know SW has tinkered with frequency on this rout...Jump to post
Saw an article on Cincy Biz Journal about WW bookings being strong at CVG. Second best behind STL of the four cities starting service in May. Not surprising considering they don't have any TATL. Another thing they mentioned was wondering like 45ish percent are ending in Iceland for their...Jump to post
jplatts, just some constructive criticism. I suggest reading your posts aloud before submitting them. Run-on sentences with repetitive information are headaches to read and sift through. I apologize for being rude! You have great information in your posts, it just would be more enjoyable to read th...Jump to post
Good morning all. On the CMH side, has anyone received any indication of how the advance bookings for Spirit are looking or confirmation about their gate location? I was in the terminal yesterday but did not see any indications of where they are going to end up. Going back to the October numbers, o...Jump to post
The way i read her quote about SW was don't look for any new routes anytime soon. SW seems to be waiting on new aircraft to augment their fleet. That, and if we want anything outside of what we currently have (excluding non-vacation destinations), we better pony up some money to guarantee the reven...Jump to post

Does anyone have G4's numbers from LCK for Spring? I wonder if they added any frequencies to try to counter NK. I've got nada on spring flight frequencies with G4. Allegiant pax totals are on the first page of the monthly stats, however, if that's what you were asking about. My gut tells me you wer...Jump to post
CMH/LCK passenger numbers for October have been published. Up 3.6% in Oct & 3.4% YTD for CMH. LCK up 66.9% in Oct & 34.8% overall. Very nice growth. Cargo continuing to experience solid growth, as well (up 28.9% YTD). Verbage here: http://www.dispatch.com/business/20171128/passenger-totals-r...Jump to post
Now that the excitement has settled down a bit, one change I really like on CMH/LCK's updated site are the new service announcements feature the airline's logo, i.e. "(Spirit logo) launches Columbus" versus "Spirit launches Columbus". Using the logo is more eye-catching to me. A...Jump to post

The powers that be have redone CMHs website. Looks much improved and needed.
**EDIT** Appears they've finally updated the terminal maps and some publications, too.
Wow. Disappointing. The growth in recent months has been anemic at best though. And we haven't had any significant annoucements of new service in a long time. All the worse comparatively when looking at the tremendous growth in IND, CVG, PIT, etc. Yeah, agree across the board with all your comments...Jump to post
Airline stats posted for CMH for September. Down 2% from Sept '16. Perhaps hurricane/weather related? The full details/context should emerge with the upcoming board meeting next Tuesday.

CMH/CRAA does a terrible job of keeping their publications up to date (or, perhaps, even doing them). Their semi-annual "On Approach" newsletter has been published twice since December of '14. Their quarterly traffic analysis has been published exactly 1 time this year and only twice last ...Jump to post
So new flights from CMH to MKE is the big announcement we have been waiting for? This was separate from rumored TATL and was the "underwhelming" announcement DeltaRules had mentioned. edit- Heavily edited this post because there's no indication as to who, but their gut feel ties to the rumor from APC.
What DL is trying to charge for IND-CDG is a complete joke. IND-CDG-IND is almost $800 more a r/t than CVG-CDG-CVG. IND to CDG via DTW is about $700 cheaper r/t than going nonstop. I seriously hope that isn't the kind of pricing racket that IND is paying subsidies for. If it's anything like CVG-CDG...Jump to post
So there's 3 "international" flights at CMH. YYZ, which if I remember correctly, clears customs in YYZ. CUN on DL clears in C concourse @ CMH, and I'm not sure on PUJ with Vacation Express...I'm assuming also in CMH, C concourse. SW typically uses A concourse...with the new, non-stop SW fl...Jump to post
Just checked in on Concourse C at CMH and noticed a brand new TSA checkpoint inside a folding set of plexiglass doors which must've opened in the last two months. Can someone copy and paste the actual post? Did it say it doesn't have nonstop to LON at all or just on AA. I have seen conflicting messages. Thanks.
