Re: Would you choose Exit Row over Window?

Depends on length of flight and aircraft type. I was once moved to the window seat on the UA 744 exit row and that was horrible having the bottom part of the exit door taking up most of my leg space for 14+ hours. So, many things to consider but usually I'd take the exit row if it meant more leg room.

Re: Australian Aviation Thread - May 2019

Thank you for the help and info but perhaps my request was not that clear. I am looking for which ground companies handle which airlines: (eg: Dnata have Emirates, etc. etc. etc. Menzies have... Swissport have... ) I am looking for data that I can make into graphs to work out what handlers have whi...

I would fly on the first Max flight when she re-enters service, even if it was a Lion Air flight.

Cheers!

Re: Australian Aviation Thread - May 2019

For a research report I need the following info if anyone can help me out with details or a link. I need a current list of which ground service providers (Menzies, Dnata, Swissport, QGS...) handle all of the different airlines at SYD, particularly for ramp, pax and cargo at SYD international. Part ...

Re: Horrible Jetstar Experience - Seat Space and Well-being Compromised

Upon observing the situation you should have immediately called a flight attendant over and asked "where is all of seat 12E?" LOL Next time I'm going to give Tiger a try. At least I'll get to log an airline I haven't tried yet. Why not. It is not like there are many other alternatives on ...

Re: Horrible Jetstar Experience - Seat Space and Well-being Compromised

Upon observing the situation you should have immediately called a flight attendant over and asked "where is all of seat 12E?" I would not have even attempted to sit there based on your description of the size of 12D and that the arm rest was already up and hidden away. (that awkward stare ...

Re: Sydney to James Bond Island on Various Thai Heavies

Great trip report 777Jet. I loved the pics of the Thai 787's and Kata Beach; what a nice looking beach. I usually stay at Patong but I am getting over the hustle and bustle of Patong. I will fly to Thailand in August and hope to catch another flight on the Thai 747 that usually operates one of the m...

Re: MH370 & MH17: Spyhunter theories for his fans

I think ALL were planted. Since the plane was shot down over the South China Sea they had to be. Bear in mind that no bodies have been recovered, and there is no reliable chain of evidence linking this wreckage with MH370 - there is some evidence, but nothing Chinese intellgence could not fabricate...

You can bet that the media will be keeping a thorough eye on Rex after the lost prop last week. How many posts from new members will need to be approved?

I just made my second post but that is awaiting approval.

This will be my third post and I'm about to press the 'SUBMIT' button as an experiment to see if this will also need approval.

Re: F-35C needs new outer wings to carry AIM-9X

The F35 (RAAF F35A) has just touched down in Australia for the first time, at the Avalon Air Show. This marks the beginning of a new era in Australia's air defence capabilities. I'll be at the air show tomorrow to see the JSF in person.
