Re: Updated: SAS presenting new livery

Haven’t read thru the entire thread, but will there be a new Star Alliance or a ’new’ retro livery on any of the new A350s or any other aircraft?

Re: Qantas plans 3 Project Sunrise research flights in Q4 2019 using 787-9's, final decision on PS by end of 2019

[threeid][/threeid] After all the posts and threads put into this site about the project? What a shame :( What would be hilarious is, after all the unjustified hype that Qantas has stirred up, the sun sets on Project Sunrise. Even more so if another airline beats them to the idea and makes it a suc...

Will Brexit affect layovers at UK airports?

For the past five years whenever I’ve traveled to the the US from where I live (CPH) I have always had a layover at LHR. So before booking my next flight(s) to the US I wanna know if the transfer process will take longer than usual after Brexit or not? P.S. I’m not very good at politics so that’s wh...

Would a B-52 passenger variant have been possible?

Like it says above, would a passenger variant of the B-52 have worked out/ been possible back in the late 50s, 60s and early 70s? Of course with a slightly modified fuselage. Just like the Soviets based the Tu-114 of the Tu-95. (Please move this to the appropriate thread if this one is not correct. ...

US3 peak periods

Between the 1950s and today, when did AA, DL, and UA have their best years in terms of on-board service? Includes food, seat-layout, comfort etc. Also out of the three, who has been the most successful financially?

Please share your thoughts below.

748 or A380 Bomber Aircraft?

I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere but was too lazy to find it, sorry. Will there ever be a 748 or A380 size bomber aircraft? Maybe they're not very agile but they have very long range, very good MTOW and tons of rooms for military equipment and bombs etc. I'm not very familiar with mili...

Pilots & FAs on 'Long-Haul' Private Flights?

(I guess I'm too lazy to google it so I'm asking it here instead :D )

How many pilots and other 'crew members' are onboard on lets say a G650 or G550 on a 10h+ flight? Are there crew rest areas available on these types of aircraft?

Seasonal LCC Flights Between Europe and Hawaii?

(I'm sure this has been discussed before.)

Do you see Norwegian launching LGW-HNL or WOW launching KEF-HNL as a seasonal route in the near future? They can at least try it out for 1 season. Or perhaps some other European airline. Please let me know what you think.

Thank you.

Schedule questions for commercial pilots

I'm asking these questions here because google wouldn't give me a straight answer. What does a weekly short-haul pilot schedule normally look like? How many legs per day? How many days off per week? Same question goes for long-haul pilots. Do you for example fly LHR-LAX, stay 1 night then fly back t...

This is a question about something that would most likely never happen, but if Boeing and Airbus were to ever design a long-haul aircraft together, what do you think the specs and design would look like?

Should the previous AA livery remain on some aircraft as a 'retro' paintjob? I personally prefer the previous soon-to-be-gone livery and it would be sad to see it disappear completely.

Re: Whats Your Favorite Airline Out Of The Following

AA, flown both short-haul & long-haul on them 10+ times and only had one small complaint (rude FA on LAX-LHR once). BA's short-haul is fine but their long-haul feels low-budget. DL is pretty oK I guess but I still prefer AA. Haven't flown on any of the others on that list as of yet (except 3 LH ...
