I think it would be too expensive considering most airports would have to redesign and/or rebuild gate areas to accommodate them. Even widening runways for the A380 was expensive enough.Jump to post
[threeid][/threeid] After all the posts and threads put into this site about the project? What a shame :( What would be hilarious is, after all the unjustified hype that Qantas has stirred up, the sun sets on Project Sunrise. Even more so if another airline beats them to the idea and makes it a suc...Jump to post

For the past five years whenever I’ve traveled to the the US from where I live (CPH) I have always had a layover at LHR. So before booking my next flight(s) to the US I wanna know if the transfer process will take longer than usual after Brexit or not? P.S. I’m not very good at politics so that’s wh...Jump to post
Like it says above, would a passenger variant of the B-52 have worked out/ been possible back in the late 50s, 60s and early 70s? Of course with a slightly modified fuselage. Just like the Soviets based the Tu-114 of the Tu-95. (Please move this to the appropriate thread if this one is not correct. ...Jump to post
I'm sure there's a thread about this somewhere but was too lazy to find it, sorry. Will there ever be a 748 or A380 size bomber aircraft? Maybe they're not very agile but they have very long range, very good MTOW and tons of rooms for military equipment and bombs etc. I'm not very familiar with mili...Jump to post

Do you see Norwegian launching LGW-HNL or WOW launching KEF-HNL as a seasonal route in the near future? They can at least try it out for 1 season. Or perhaps some other European airline. Please let me know what you think.
I'm asking these questions here because google wouldn't give me a straight answer. What does a weekly short-haul pilot schedule normally look like? How many legs per day? How many days off per week? Same question goes for long-haul pilots. Do you for example fly LHR-LAX, stay 1 night then fly back t...Jump to post
This is a question about something that would most likely never happen, but if Boeing and Airbus were to ever design a long-haul aircraft together, what do you think the specs and design would look like?

A couple years back I was due to fly LAX-LHR on AA when it got cancelled due to engine issues. AA kindly provided me and my friend with a free night stay at the airport Marriott with dinner/lunch and breakfast vouchers included. Would this have been provided if it was a LCC like for example Norwegia...Jump to post
Should the previous AA livery remain on some aircraft as a 'retro' paintjob? I personally prefer the previous soon-to-be-gone livery and it would be sad to see it disappear completely.Jump to post
AA, flown both short-haul & long-haul on them 10+ times and only had one small complaint (rude FA on LAX-LHR once). BA's short-haul is fine but their long-haul feels low-budget. DL is pretty oK I guess but I still prefer AA. Haven't flown on any of the others on that list as of yet (except 3 LH ...Jump to post
The L.A. area is a pretty big metropolis and yet it only has one major airport , LAX, with a few smaller airports scrattered around, BUR, LGB etc. NYC on the ither hand has two major airports serving the city EWR and JFK (not sure if LGA counts as a major intl airport). So my question is, if L.A. we...Jump to post
