Is there any chance of an ATL-RIC / ORF in the future? I see the airline at RIC every couple of weeks and occasionally at ORF but would love to get a chance to fly them. ATL I know is taking on DL & WN primarily but how long can they avoid NOT going into places like ATL/CLT/DFW?

Delta is consistently the most profitable of the US3 despite having hubs in much smaller cities. Why? I disagree about the 787 being useless for DL, quite the opposite. The 788 in particular would have been much better than the A339 since it is a bit more versatile as it can be used on both TATL and TPAC routes. A339 can’t do Asia as well.
