wedgetail737: SAN-STS was announced back in 2012 and started that year. It’s been flying ever since and Alaska has done very well. It was slated to go 2x Pre-COVID as was SAN-BOS. Hopefully we’ll see STS 2x daily soon!Jump to post
Has anyone tried to go book a flight on Frontier recently? It’s showing the schedule open until 9/12/2021.... they’ve never extended it that far!Jump to post
Yes, they did approve the 16 city exemptions!
BunkerF16: My whole point of the post was to ask why JetBlue feels they have to restart PSP but not HDN? You’ve failed to address it. You also failed to address my comments about PSP. What makes that city any different than HDN? Both only operate in winter and PSP into late April. Your the one who b...Jump to post
BunkerF16: Did you not see my post above to others? I am well aware HDN has only been flown in winter. It doesn’t matter in this case. JetBlue chose to use winter (January- March) 2020 schedules and so the government said any city that was open during that winter time frame- WHETHER OR NOT IT NORMAL...Jump to post
MAH4546: If that were the case then PSP wouldn’t have to be reopened like it is. Everyone is missing the point.... The government let the airline choose with schedule they wanted to base it off. Summer 2019 or Winter 2020. JetBlue chose winter 2020. So... anything flying up to March 1, during winter...Jump to post
tphuang: Don’t worry- a ton of us are baffled why B6 chose to use winter 2020. So here’s what they done so far. LGB-BZN added back 1x weekly Sundays JFK-PSP-LGB added Wed/Fri/Sun What they should have done to minimalism costs was LGB-HDN-BZN. Kills 2 birds with 1 stone. Also, and more disappointing,...Jump to post
tphuang: LGB-BZN also operates in winter as well to LGB. Originally it was started as winter seasonal but then they extended to add summer seasonal as well as keeping winter. I respect all your posts and love all your analysis you post so please don’t take this the wrong way. I just don’t know any o...Jump to post
“Just got word that JetBlue has filed with the USDOT to drop the following cities under a CARES Act exemption. First carrier to file for one, and this is separate from the co-terminal cities it has already announced. Business travel is definitely going to be affected by this. There is a huge trade show in Anaheim, CA this coming week- 80,000 people attending. Some of the biggest companies are already pulling out and my partners company will make a decision Monday morning. Businesses are giving their employees th...Jump to post
So I just did a quick of PAE and did a comparison of now vs summer schedules. Here is the article that mentions PDX-PAE getting reduced: https://www.google.com/amp/s/thepointsguy.com/news/alaska-airlines-paine-field-everett-boise/amp/ Now, about the PAE schedules... Interesting notes: SNA increases ...Jump to post
Thanks Emilia for doing this. I always look forward to it. In regards to B6 @JFK- I can offer a little insight that will also explain some of the cuts elsewhere... B6 has be sitting on a bunch of unused slots at JFK. The Port Authority came to B6 and said “Use they or loose them.” Hence why you see ...Jump to post
ChrisNH38: The 3rd BOS-SEA on AS is still happening- it returns April 21st!Jump to post
LAX-PAE is currently at 4x.... 1x is being dropped to fund PAE-PSP and another is being dropped to fund
d PAE-GEG. I’m guessing 4x LAX-PAE was too much capacity since they didn’t fund it from another city (SAN, SFO both have 2x).
EA CO AS:
Since you mentioned DCA going to all A321NEO, do you know anything about BOS? BOS-SFO/SAN and LAX are all still A320. BOS-SAN/SFO are most concerning as the A320 will constantly be tech stopping for fuel? Do you know if they’ll will switch to A321NEO or back to Boeing?
After everyone said BOS-PSP wasn’t coming back, looks like B6 proved you wrongJump to post
SANFAN: SAN-JFK and SAN-BOS are at 3x in September/ October with the added flight being a A320 those 2 months only. As of right now, they then end. I still see both of them loaded on the Jetblue app! However, it’s my understanding they intend to bring the 3rd SAN-BOS flight back on a A320 mid Januar...Jump to post
N924VA is operating SAN-BOS today- quite a treat for SAN spotters. It operates SFO-SAN-BOS-SFO. Looks like a one off but based on the history of loads on SAN-BOS, I’d love to see this a regular A321 even if just seasonal!
RWA380: Than You for your kind comments. I appreciate it. I joined on here a year or two ago after being a avid reader. I am a airline dork at heart. My passion is people and Route Planning so it’s fun for me to figure out the “puzzles” and search for new routes or gaps in schedules! I think this wh...Jump to post
I apologize Planes and Trains for not giving you credit too! I’ve been going back and forth between this thread and others I forgot you mentioned PSP first.
And RWA380: I agree about SANFan/ B- -!
Right now there is nothing reduced... but what’s odd is the 2nd PAE-PHX hasn’t showed up nor has LAX reducing to 3x. I’m thinking they’re still working on it but here’s a few possibilities: 1) SNA gets cut seasonally (I always thought this was the oddball 2) LAS gets reduced to 1x seasonally (it get...Jump to post

I like the bigger font and the wavy line... but I wish the tail had another color... maybe purple or teal like the new uniforms. The only thing that really I don’t like is the shade of blue on the engines. I feel like it cheapens the look of the brand... had it been a darker blue or purple it would ...Jump to post
It looks like N928VA (A321) flew GSO-SFO 22hrs ago. Maybe soon we’ll see pics of the new interior on the A321!
I flew on a AS branded Airbus last year and loved it. It was very pretty up close. I have a question though I’m hoping someone could answer. On my flight the mood lighting was the VX pink/ purple but I’m noticing a lot of pics of Airbuses with blue... is this something they are switching to before t...Jump to post
