I know a lot of people are doubting ORD-ZIH, but it’s a deal with ALG vacations (Apple Leisure Group). They have most of the aircraft seats with Alaska only having a very small portion of seats to sell. It should work just fine.

LAXBUR: it was on the ground nearly 2 hours in DFW and they passed DFW before turning around and heading to DFW. In my opinion, I think either a medical or mechanical or unruly pax. Usually you don’t stop enroute to refuel unless it’s a tech stop.

I think part of the problem with SJC is the lack of a decent schedule.
At 1x redeye turn, your missing all the tech traffic that would rather fly a day flight. If B6 had say a 8am or even 12pm SJC-BOS, I think they’d be doing much better in the market.

JetBlue cut BOS-SAN to 1x redeye turn on 1/4. This is quite shocking and already pushing people to book on Alaska as it’s the only daytime flight.

Alaska loaded May 20th schedule changes on Saturday. While things could still change, some pleasant surprises. SMF-SAN jumps to 5x! Originally it was planned at 3x then jumping to 4x in May so this is a welcome treat!

A lot of cuts happened in the past 24 hours for January schedules. A lot of my FA friends say their schedules have been drastically cut. I’m hearing RIC-LAX/LAS is consistently getting cancelled due to barely any customers.

wedgetail737: SAN-STS was announced back in 2012 and started that year. It’s been flying ever since and Alaska has done very well. It was slated to go 2x Pre-COVID as was SAN-BOS. Hopefully we’ll see STS 2x daily soon!
