Re: Southwest launch service to Miami & Palm Springs

MIA-HAV flights have to be in play in this one. The amount of baggage on those flights is astounding. And when bags fly free you can guarantee a full plane on this route hands down.

No it hasn't WN has up to 100 departures a day from FLL next spring. right, because preliminary schedule for spring is actually going to run. But it is for your darling B6? Or NK for that matter? Maybe a good time for HA to pack up and head to BUR and have no competition. If B6 can run an all core 321N to JFK then HA I’d imagine should have no issue with a mixed class 321N from BUR. Would be a smart move on B6’s part. Regain that local loyal base of OC/LGB traffic. Get a foot in with the new entrant 3 slots, then either use them for other markets (JFK,BOS,FLL) as the 220 comes online or eventually add slots in addition to the 3 upon entry and keep the 3x LAS. The AS SJD flights were full in SNA. The problem for both us and SW is the yield sucked. The sole reason both AS and SW dropped Mexico flights out of SNA is that you can make more money on those same flights from LAX.
