Not being pedantic but when AJ had a set to with the unions some time ago, they ceased flying for a short period.

I have had over 20 flights on QF's A380's(J class) and have never experienced what you were subjected to. If you want to experience a noisey flight by comparison try a B777.300ER, seat 7K on EK! Hi folks, there is an alternative to the Los Angeles NewYork route and in my opinion far better.
Sydney to New York via Dallas.
Have done this trip 4 times and in spite of some delays due to New Yorks weather it is quite civil compared to Los Angeles.
