With regards to Paul Stoddart formerly owning Minardi he was also behind an unsuccessful foray with OZJet Down Under.
He is without doubt a survivor in the business world.
Greetings Folks, to our contributor ArchGuy1, as you have yet to experience an ocean voyage may I suggest your first experience should be aboard one of Regent Cruises liners.
First class accommodation,dining,entertainment and tours.
To my fellow contributor, Connntriutions, my point is "speculations".
Apologies for not responding sooner but one these days has a priority for more important issues.
Thank you for your response .
Purely speculation on my part but assuming Squire Calhouns response to the reporters question "YES",is indicative of his inside knowledge of an airline that is heavily committed to BA's product, the real answer!
Greetings Folks, picked up a thread via Airlinegeeks who had an"interview" with their Chief Legal Officer.
Someone is living in fantasyland!
Greetings Folks, Virgin are on the "verge" here on Australia not looking good for the name! Perhaps at the end of the day a name change (through a "takeover" would not be such a bad thing. Then who and why would this scenario suit? Thought I'd throw in a curve ball to stimulate t...Jump to post
Greetings Folks, including Norwegian "haters". It appears that Norwegian (D8) are ranked as the largest foreign carrrier for 2019 to NYC. 2,057,284 customers. That may not transfer into making a profit but shows that the acceptance level in Flying them is far better than some posts on this...Jump to post
Greetings Folks, the negative comments re DXB 's lounge (I assume the reference is the business class one) surprises me . Over the last ten years I have been through DXB more than 18 times and have never experienced any "train station syndrome". It will never compare to Doha's but it is st...Jump to post
Greetings Folks,an interesting number of comments. The 747 appears to be the choice of "Y" users however after having flown, over the years, in the 100/200/300/ 400 and the SP as compared to flights on 777.200/300 in "J" there is little to compare.I guess it is a matter of horses f...Jump to post
Hi US Aviator, good questionQuoted from Airliner Tech (Volume 8 on the Tristar) "a diverter fairing called the Frisbee fairing was made to the inlet duct for the number 2 engine. Greetings All, a question both us flyer asip and arion 640, have you experienced the Business Lounge ?
Everything in life is personal ,particularly options ,I respect yours but in my opinion their B/L is far superior .
Greetings All, here is a left field comment, maybe looking at a "cheap" takeover!
Greetings Folks, boy that is one very aggressive looking aircraft!
All the best to Boeing and their supply partners in getting this aircraft in the air.
Despite the naysayers this aircraft will eventually rule the skies just like the 747.
well tests my bit , cheers 325i.
Greetings Folks, there is an article in the June issue of Airliner World that gives an overview of the demise of WOW and that Mogensen is attempting to have another go!
Dear Marcelth, do not apologise for being European ,there will come a time in your life when you are bored with land based tours. Cruising is SOOOO relaxing combined with educational trips (land based) . If you have the means and are adventurous enough sample or checkout Regent Cruises. Most travel ...Jump to post
Greetings Folks, Have just scrolled through the 2018 threads and have picked up on the 2019.boy am I feeling somewhat nostalgic! Greetings Folks, RyaairGuru mentioned that QF in 2021 will be the longest running airline.
Not being pedantic but when AJ had a set to with the unions some time ago, they ceased flying for a short period.
Would this not throw a spanner in the works to this claim .just asking
Thank you Waterbomber2 for your response. It would appear to me that you had a one off experience or that air travel does not agree with you.
Take a deep breath and have another go in flying with one of Europes better airlines. Alternatively upgrade to J class . Cheers ,325i.
Greetings Folks and Waterbomber2,my friend you must have had a bad day to make a comment that KL's service etc is poor. late last year had 2 wonderful flights with them, from check in to deplaning the entire staff that were involved performed with an exemplary attitude. The aircraft were clean and th...Jump to post
Dear Boeingphan,I cannot accept that you were subjected to sounds as reproduced on your video. I have had over 20 flights on QF's A380's(J class) and have never experienced what you were subjected to. If you want to experience a noisey flight by comparison try a B777.300ER, seat 7K on EK! Cheers 325...Jump to post
In my opinion I believe that the Management at ANA should be congratulated for looking beyond their corporate image particularly as this aircraft has a level of prestige attached to it.
It will be interesting to observe what the. Ext two aircraft come up with!
Greetings Folks,I have a question, logic says,to me, there would have been a representative from CX on site during this process am I right in assuming this was the case? Assuming my "logic" is correct then all I can say is that person was extremely deficient in the English language! Altern...Jump to post
Thank you Stitch for your response. It could well be likely that your comment is the basis for what has evolved.
I have a question regarding QF's ."alleged deposits" on the balance of the 380 order, does anyone know that they exist?
Regards ,325 I.
Greetings Folks, I quite like the new livery, however the management could have given consideration to placing their logo on the engine nacelles. It would have IMO relieved the somewhat stark and clinical white fuselage. Nonelteles it is a welcome change. Now to upset some , when are SQ going to ent...Jump to post

Greetings Folks, recalling a flight last year LOndon to Barcelona I was served a "salad and cheese plate" for lunch! I had a better snack in their lounge . Greetings Folks, have just scrolled through this thread and have come to the conclusion that the more asthetically blessed contributors in assessing aircraft design are in agreement that the L1011 and B757 are the winners. I suspect my opinion will be challenged by "outraged" contributors ...Jump to post
Hi Folks, maybe I am being somewhat naive but whatever happened to that old dictum "the customer is comes first".
Today's self entitlement ,by some, appears to blow that into the ether!
Cheers and have a good day. 325i.
