Re: Wow Air to announce flights to Delhi

Having flown WW a330 and a321 I didn't find them any worse than the US3. KEF has multiple food options, many with really good fish! WW had good service. The only concern I have is that India flights are often have huge luggage counts. That could be interesting at check in. I hope it succeeds.

Re: WOW Air inaugural flight KEF-DTW today

I flew WW SFO-KEF-FRA RT last October. The cost of the ticket, seat assignment, carry-on plus a night at a cheap hotel in KEF was less expensive than LH/DL/UA. I bought munchies and a full water bottle. The buy on board was edible and cheaper than the food at KEF. Just do the math when pricing your ...

Probably not. They have still to complete the ETOPS certification process. Getting "Icelandair" of the tail is fine by me. Flattening out the logo with one color looks cheap and ULCC to me. Abstracting a logo like Delta did with the widget is obviously now a trend. The old livery was very classy. Is FI in a battle with WW for the cheapest tacky branding race?

United is not at fault. If the agency messed up the booking it falls on them. The agent at the gate may have been struck by departure deadlines. The agent can not delay a flight over a passenger that wasn't able to be boarded.

I think that fleet complexity is becoming more of an issue. When say a 7M9/10 goes on a mechanical and all that is left is a 7M7/8 you run into oversell and range issues. With these massive variance in capacity it might as well be an Airbus.
